Wild At Art experience are life-changing! Not only are you in a beautiful environment surrounded by wonderfully friendly and creative people, but the instructors are encouraging, fun and inspiring. You can't help but be changed by the experience. I've been on two of them (Iona and Outer Hebrides) and loved both. Ute, who organizes the experiences, helps everyone feel at home and always finds beautiful places (and yummy food!). I cannot recommend these trips enough and will be returning just as soon as I can.

I have recently returned from a Wild at Art Scotland trip, the Skye Textile adventure, and I couldn't be more pleased. The trip was beautifully organized, from our luxe accommodations and healthy, gourmet food from our chef Kate, to each and every textile experience and sightseeing. The quality of outings was first rate. Ute and Lucy were remarkable hosts and gave us real value for the money spent. This is my second trip with Wild at Art and I will soon be on another with them. And I'm looking seriously at several of their 2026 trips.

I did the "Rediscovering a sense of possibility ~ Art & photography retreat with Margaret Soraya & Ute Amann-Seidel in Orkney, Scotland" in November 2021. And it was just perfect. A one-of-a-kind experience with a colourful mixture of inspiring women in the breathtaking environment of Orkney islands. Plenty of options to do your own way of art combined with diving into the stormy but yet so lovely nature of Stromness and the surrounding. Talking, painting, remaining silent, taking photographs - loved this trip to Scotland and to myself.

I visited Orkney with a Wild at Art program - the teacher Leo de Feu was wonderful, and the location - at the Linklater Voice Center was perfect for this type of group. Thank you Ute for being a great host.

What a fantastic creative fiber experience this past week! Not only were there numerous fiber techniques to explore and learn but having a full immersive Isle of Skye lifestyle and history experience too. With a small group we were able to get to know and learn from eachother. We all had a penchant for fiber and Wild at Art did not disappoint. Weaving, spinning, visiting working crofts, felting and yarn shopping sure kept us busy. And we still managed to see the beauty of Skye, visit castles, museums, listen to story tellers and visit distilleries. They also had wonderful meals (and deal with my dietary needs!). Thank you Ute and Lucy for a perfect balanced week!
