May 2025 - Very tidy site, good position and outlook across the bay. Friendly welcoming staff. Facilities are spotless, showers are hot. Great site for Kirkwall and touring. Would not hesitate to stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights in a campervan on a hard standing pitch. Pitch was large with hard standing and grass area next to it for awning. The site is flat. As you can see from photos and the website description the site is on the waters edge so when it’s windy, it’s windy, we were only able to use our awning for 1 night. Obviously not the fault of the campsite but a point to note for visitors. |The toilets and showers were spotless! The ladies block had 3 toilets and 2 showers. Push button showers (great for saving water), also a hairdryer costing 20p. There is also a large accessible bathroom. |Washing room with a sink and washing machine and tumble dryer. Washing machine is £5, dryer £2. Definitely bring change if you plan on using these. |Staff seen periodically for cleaning and in a little office if you needed anything, not sure if there where set hours of this being open as we were out during the day.|The campsite is only a mile or 2 into Kirkwall. |We would definitely stay here again. |We were lucky enough to see the Northern lights while staying.

Spent four great nights on this beautiful touring park in a campervan. The toilets and showers were spotlessly clean and the site was very nice. Had a beautiful view, and was dog friendly. We'd book again if we went back to the beautiful Orkney Islands. The owners were very friendly and hardworking to keep everything looking nice.

Delightful site situated 5 minutes from Kirkwall centre. Lots of room for kids to play and dogs to be exercised. Washing facilities are outstanding, warm and clean. Booking is easy and the security locks a good idea on the wash block. Highly recommend staying. We will certainly be back.

What an amazing site this is. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone. We stayed for 4 nights and it was immaculate. The site was well laid out and quiet. Everyone who camped around us was respectful and lovely. The shower and toilet facilities were absolutely immaculate, genuinely one of the cleanest campsite toilets I've ever been in. You can tell there is a lot of pride and effort that goes into keeping that place looking good! Great facilities for cleaning and laundry too. Would 100% come back!

Stayed on this well kept, spotlessly clean and immaculate toilets for 5 nights while on Orkney. Site is situated on the bay and we had a great pitch, no 3 looking out onto the water watching all the ships and boats. 30 minute walk into Kirkwall itself with lots to see and do. Patricia was very friendly when we happened to see her.

My first time staying here at Kirkwall Bay and I can't wait to return. Situated in a great location next to the sea. Facilities were very clean and well maintained. The site is so quiet and peaceful. Looking forward to returning here soon 🙌🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
