Annie's Place was the perfect location for my family trip to Orkney. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and equipped for all our needs. It feels like a home away from home.
There was plenty to do in the village of Birsay it's self with the Palace ruins to explore, walks to the Whale Bone North End and beyond, the Brough of Birsay and Marwick Head. Short drives took us to Yesnabay, Bay of Skaill and both Stromness and Kirkwall.
Anne and Robin were available if we required anything such as advice on local attractions, places to eat and things to do when the weather wasn't so great. Anne and Robin even accompanied me on a walk to the Brough of Birsay to show me where we could see puffins. Anne and Robin are happy to give as little or as much input as you require and have a wealth of knowledge on Birsay and Orkney.
I will definitely be returning to Annie's Place and have already booked for Easter. I can not recommend Annie's Place enough if you are looking for a place to relax or explore. Its an exciting place for the family with the beach literally on your doorstep rock pools galore and adventures to be made. There's plenty to do for couples and solo travellers.
