Thanks to the team at Lyme Bay RIB charter for an incredible trip along to Lyme Regis. With all three boats out filming for their socials yesterday, it was a fun and thrilling trip.

Living close to West Bay, this was something I have wanted to do for a long time but never quite got round to! I would recommend it for both locals and tourists as an amazing way to see our beautiful Jurassic coastline.

Fantastic fun for all the family! Whether you’re local or on holiday, you have to go on a rib ride! There are lots of different options ranging from scenic, more chilled rides to fast thrill seeking rides. The Jurassic Coast has to be seen from the water… it’s breathtaking. The team at Lyme Bay Rib Charter are absolute professionals and safety is paramount. We look forward to our next rib ride!

This was so much fun. Highly recommend Lyme Bay Rib Charter. We booked online and went from West Bay on the 'blast' around the coast and along the bay to see the scenery. It was great, grinned the whole way and there was just the right amount of clinging on and 'good' screaming and laughter. The staff are all lovely and made it a great experience.

We did the “Best of Both” in West Bay and had an amazing time. The team was super nice and helpful. You get a life vest and safety briefing for your own protection before the boat ride starts. The scenery along the coast during the cruise is stunning and the skipper gives tips for tourists. The blast/ fast rise was so much fun. We couldn’t stop smiling. Highly recommend to anyone visiting West Bay or Lyme Regis!

I read the reviews before making my booking. The experience was every bit as good as people say.
The staff are friendly and professional. You start with safety equipment and briefing before a slow cruise to the harbour entrance.
We did the "best of both" . A good description indeed. The sightseeing is a pleasant cruise along the coast with stops for commentary and photos.
The rest is a blast. With 600hp pushing us along, the result is better than your imagination.
And all the time we felt quite safe ( but it was noticed that Grandma shut her eyes during the "doughnuts").
We didn't get wet, but we did get a bit cold. Some warm clothing isn't a bad idea if it's a bit chilly on the quayside.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Super friendly staff who are clearly very experienced at what they do. After a short but detailed safety briefing we set off for a 45 minute trip seeing the coast line and enjoying the rib flat out, the best of both. Would not hesitate to return or recommend this company.
