4 of us did the Esk Ghyll excursion and all absolutely loved it! Craig was such a nice guy and made sure everyone was comfortable and well looked after as we went through jumps, waterfalls and various swims! Can’t recommend enough. If anyone wants to try push themselves out of their comfort zone, go for it.. you won’t regret it!😉

Amazing experience doing the Coppermines, really glad we booked it. Craig was an absolute legend and really completed the whole thing. Will be certainly coming back to do more with him and Crag's Adventures. Would give 6 stars if I could! Highly recommend!

My sister and I have been on 3 different excursions with Craig (and the last one with Vickie too!) so that should tell you something.
Craig especially is a great guide who is obviously very competent which makes you feel in safe hands and also easy to get along with which puts everyone at east straight away.
The scrambling and canyoning we have done have been so much fun. The added bonus also that both Craig and Vickie are great photographers capturing some great photos and videos for you! At our last trip, a couple of us mentioned how we had photos printed in our houses.
Overall I can't speak highly enough of Crags Adventures. Definitely the place to book your Lake District adventure! Hope to see you again soon for another fun day at some point!

My husband and I took part in the Crypt Canyon with Crags Adventure. Craig and Vickie were amazing from start to finish, communication was clear and and friendly throughout the booking.
We've done a number of outdoor activities in the lakes now but this was without a doubt the best company we've been with and now our go to. Craig was a brilliant guide, really cared about you having a unique fun adventure and you could tell how passionate he was about it. We felt safe at all times and experienced activities that we hadn't done before. There was no one on our route, it felt like a unique expedition. I'm not a big review writer but this felt like something to write about. Honestly couldn't recommend enough, we look forward to the next adventure!

Absolutely fantastic day out with Craig today, scrambling up Esk Ghyll was unreal.

Cannot speak highly enough regarding both the experience & Craig. The experience was surreal from the get go, lots of jumping into pristine water, climbing actual waterfalls & slipping on our butts, can't ask for much more.
Craig was brilliant, lots of experience, was more than happy to help everyone when it was necessary, super friendly & approachable man.

11/10 will do this again & will recommend it to everyone.

& to sweeten the deal, he took some cracking photos which he airdropped/sent via email with no extra charge!

Me and my partner did the Coppermines. It was just the two of us and Craig was the instructor. We had an amazing time, Craig was calm, knowledgable, funny and so experienced. It was very adventurous and so much fun. Two high jumps into water were involved, and I was pretty rubbish, took me a while to manage the jump, but Craig was so patient and encouraging, and I managed to do it. Craig always had an ‘easier’ option if you couldn’t do all of it. The wetsuits provided were amazing, did not even feel the water, so warm. As there were just two of us, Craig did some extra bits with us and we got to do a rock climb, and abseil down. We had so much fun, and we are bringing the kids back next time. Craig has so much enthusiasm for what he does, and is so personable, that he makes the experience even better.
We had a great time, and would highly recommend Crags Adventures, and when we return, we would make sure we used them again.
Booking was easy, they contacted us and made it all a breeze, thank you Craig.

I've booked twice with Crags Adventures in two different locations and on both occasions had an amazing experience. The sessions were well led and friendly and each time everyone was made to feel safe and supported if nervous with no pressure on having to participate in the big jumps. I took my 2 boys on one of the Adventures who are 12 and 14 and they had the time of their life. The booking came with photos and clips of the day which were sent to us shortly after we finished later that day and I could not recommend Crags Adventures enough, highly recommend for a brilliant day out with great company and creating amazing memories. 10/10.

Fantastic day Ghyll scrambling and abseiling with Craig on Saturday. My husband booked it as a surprise so I didn’t know what I was letting myself in for, but what a challenging and fun day we had! Craig is a fantastic instructor and put me at ease. There was a lot of water in the stream after some heavy rain last week, which added to the challenge, but I always felt safe. Thick wetsuits helped to make sure we were warm throughout. We will be booking another adventure and highly recommend Crags Adventures.
