This was a really nice, relaxing, and enlightening day out. The staff are all friendly and knowledgeable, and there is a range of activities for kids of most ages

The bug zoo is small but well formed, and the staff are on hand to enrich your experience.

The trail around the site is beautiful and teeming with wildlife if you go looking for it.

There is a cafe that serves warm meals, drinks, and snacks, but it should be pointed out that the menu is mainly plant / insect based, and they only serve oat milk. Personally, I think it's delicious and certainly worth braving it up!

Fantastic place to visit, with really friendly and knowledgable staff. I went with my mum and two kids. The bug show is particularly good, you can handle (if you want to) a cockroach and stick insect, and hear lots of interesting facts about them. The restaurant has quite a varied menu with options featuring insects!

Wonderful day out for kids that is dog friendly and environmentally minded. Fantastic wildflower walks and wildlife viewing opportunities. The play area is a hit with children and the adjoining cafe is a great spot. Dogs are not allowed in the tropical bug zoo or during a touch session but are warmly welcomed everywhere else. Staff are wonderfully helpful and informative. There is also a lovely gift shop, too.

Hands down one of the best days out we have ever had. We visited over the Easter holidays with our 8 year old and 6 year old. The place was easy to find, parking was easy and it wasn't that busy when we went. The bugs were all really cool! We paid extra for a bug handling experience and met Bob. The kids loved the bug zoo and the meadow walk was delightful. My husband and I LOVED the food in the cafe, you could tell it was made by a professional chef. The staff were all sweethearts. We spent about five hours here. Such a good day out!

Fantastic place to visit, young or old. Lots to see do touch and taste! Such a wonderful venture that is really important to the survival of all living things. The staff are super friendly and so knowledgeable and love passing that passion on.
Would recommend the bug burger if eating in the cafe...very tasty.
Well worth the visit. Would highly recommend.

When we visited it was a very rainy day and we were not able to enjoy any of the outside activities unfortunately such as the walks and trails but they did look nice.
The majority of our visit was focused around the indoor attractions which consisted of a British bug zoo and museum, a tropical bug zoo, the grub kitchen and the art gallery/meet the bugs room.
The grub kitchen was an experience where a selection of food items could be purchased containing edible insects however we were not brave enough to try them so chose more traditional items from the menu.
I would recommend the meet the bug experience for a small extra charge of £2. Two very knowledgeable and friendly handlers spoke about several creatures, allowing everyone who wanted the opportunity to hold them to do so.
The entry price overall seemed quite expensive for what we were able to do however I'm sure it would've seemed much better value if we'd been able to enjoy the outdoors. Would recommend to anyone with kids who enjoy minibeasts!

Well worth a visit. Great for kids and dogs. A mixture of indoor and outdoor activities. Be sure to pre book the insect holding! Really friendly staff. All clearly passionate about the farm. Parking easy. Food and drink on site...not all food contains insects 😊 very close to St Davids.

Visited for a big lunch and wasn't disappointed! Didn't visit the exhibits, but looks like it is probably very interesting, but we fancied trying some bug food. Enjoyed a hearty lunch of crickets beautifully presented! Great experience!
