A lovely warm welcome by our host, Marilyn. A lovely clean cosy, sweet smelling cottage, and by far and away the best equipped home we have stayed in. Clearly a well loved home and beautifully maintained. And the views are amazing! So quiet and snug. A perfect hideaway. Thank you x

Absolutely amazing! Marilyn and Ifor are so lovely, helpful and welcoming - we really couldn't have asked for more. Derwen cottage is beautiful inside and out. Immaculately clean, comfortable, well equipped with everything we could have needed for a fabulous holiday here. Close to Aberystwyth but peaceful and beautiful. The meadow for walking our collie in the morning and evening was an added bonus. The milk, bread, butter and biscuits etc. were a lovely touch too. So highly recommended.

If I could give a higher star rating I would. Marilyn and Ifor are so welcoming and go beyond all expectations in making all guests feel welcome.
The cottages are beautiful, peaceful and the location is ideal. From the moment you turn off the main road leading up through the picturesque archway of trees, the quaint cottages with every amenity possible and most importantly the warmest welcome anyone could wish for.
Fantastic, friendly, warm and welcoming hosts and home from home cottages.

Celyn Cottage is a lovely place to stay. We'll equipped and beautifully kept. It is only a couple of miles from Aberystwyth and there are many interesting places to visit locally. The owners, Marilyn and Ifor are so welcoming, we would highly recommend a stay.

Writing this review while I am in the Derwen cottage. Amazing place. Quite, calm and secluded. My Family, including Our pet rabbit loves it. Besides, the host, Marilyn is a lovely lady, polite, caring and very humble.
Absolutely recommended.

We have stayed at both Derwen and Celyn they are always so clean, comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. Our hosts Marilyn and Ifor are so lovely friendly and helpful but without being intrusive. We would highly recommended staying at Doleos Cottages if you like peace and a pastoral setting and yet are within very easy access to Cardigan Bay and the Cumbrian mountains.

Beautiful location and ideal for exploring the area. The owner was great to deal with. We took our two year old daughter and the cottage was great for us as a family. The cottage is well appointed and provides all you could want, including good WiFi. Highly recommended.
