I went here twice. Once for the Mini Mach motorbike festival which is hosted by Nick and his wonderful wife Caroline (she's a keeper - SUCH a great cook! lol) The second time was at one of "Ride the World's" Simon and Lisa (Caroline's sister) Thomas on their photography retreat "Living Lens" weekends where I polished up my photography and got out of the artistic "rut" I was in. The food was amazing as Caroline uses all local produce (I never knew Welsh cheeses were so nice!) The shepherd's hut I stayed in was awesome and the log burner was an added bonus as it kept me warm all night. Looking forward to my next visit. Definitely recommended!

This is a very special place indeed: far greater than the sum of its parts. I was here for a few days with a group of fellow bikers. The welcome was very warm, and I immediately felt very much at home. Nick and Caroline are truly wonderful hosts. Nick and his achievements are deeply impressive, Caroline's cooking is frankly incredible (the attention to detail and genuine love that has gone into it are clear to see), accommodations are a comfortable no-frills affair, and the surroundings are so peaceful. The location also makes the centre a great base of operations for local day-trips on stunning roads. Recommended!

They hosted our annual Yoga Retreat. The centre is brilliant, it's got everything you need for a fun & relaxing time away. Lovely accommodation, good facilities & nice bar area. The owners are amazing, always welcoming & very accommodating. The food is incredible too! I love visiting this place every year!

The MachFest held here is the best boutique adventure bike festival there is. Spend the day discovering new routes around the Welsh mountains and coast, then enjoy the food, beer, cider and great music in the evenings. Very friendly vibe and lovely staff 👊✊ 😃

I stayed at Nick's centre whilst on a Motojunkies weekend. What an incredible place and really lovely people.
We stayed in a shepherds hut, with facilities provided in a converted barn. The barn also had an honesty bar and comfy seating area so we could enjoy evenings with the rest of our group.
The food was amazing. Caroline is a fantastic cook (and Nick proved himself an excellent chef's assistant!). They were excellent hosts.

Like all of the MACH motorcycle events Nick hosts at his Expedition Centre, the Adventure Gathering this weekend (August Bank Holiday) has been superb. Wherever you want to ride, around the world or local green lanes, there was something for you here. Nick and Caroline, as always, have been amazing hosts. I highly recommend the Centre, the MACH Festivals and any event Nick puts on.
