We did the 2pm Oxford University Walking tour with Footprints today. It was fantastic.
Alice our guide was so informative and funny. She shared with us loads of interesting information about the colleges including their history, what you can study, students antics and social life at Oxford University (and more) ?
Her wonderful personality shone through and we loved all the extra interesting facts she shared with us. She answered all the questions we asked with patience and kindness, which added to our experience and made it one of the best walking tours I’ve done in the UK ?
I think it’s great that students do the tour themselves, as her pride of the university and an insight to what Oxford University can also offer students on top of academia, was just perfect for my teenage son whose already thinking of universities, even though he’s not even chosen his GCSE’s ?
We would definitely recommend Footprint Tours.

Mr. Rigley gave just enough information on the colleges and libraries to peak my interest and provide time to take notes and pictures. I appreciated the pace and length of the tour and recommend it for a guided Oxford tour.

Will gave us a wonderful tour of Harry Potter filming sites. He was very informative and friendly. Our group arrived about 15 minutes late because our tour bus was running behind, but he very kindly was able to accommodate us anyway.

Our Oxford adventure was made absolutely amazing due to the incredible guide, Chris Fleming. He led the “Oxford University Walking Tour With University Alumni Guide“ and was so informative about the history of the city, the colleges and the Oxford traditions.
Chris’s ten years in Oxford as a student and a fellow enabled him to make the history come alive and his retelling of college high jinx added some fun levity.
