Jack, the owner, was a star – not only was he super knowledgeable about kayaking and the local waters, but he also had a fantastic sense of humor. His friendly and engaging personality made the whole trip even more enjoyable. I always felt safe throughout the experience, and I learned a lot!

Great experience, I can't recommend this place enough. The guided kayak tour was lots of fun and extremely well managed by Jack who is a very reassuring, affable presence. After the safety briefing we paddled up the ystwyth, had a stone skimming competition, paddled through the harbour into the sea (it was calm enough to do this) and ended by paddling up the rheidol. Jack was great with my son and made sure he didnt get too tired. It was a great way to see sea birds and marine life from a closer perspective. We're hoping to return for the SUP tour! Thank you 🙂

Kayaking and paddle boarding with Jack at AberOutdoors was the highlight of our trip to Aberystwyth. He was so patient and relaxed and taught us at our own pace with no pressure. He was brilliant with kids who had a fantastic time learning the skills with him. He catered to all the experience and age levels in our group and everyone enjoyed themselves.
