Wonderful experience. Paul, our agent at Inspiring Travel, was exceptionally responsive and met all our needs when planning our trip for us! He did all the heavy lifting, finding us exceptional accommodations and creating a bespoke itinerary that fit our wishes all within budget. He also hooked us up with a fabulous guide/driver, Alastair from Go Highands, who is incredibly knowledgeable both about the area and the history at each place we stopped (and a general delight to spend the week with). The hardest decision We had to make was which place to get cocktails at the end of the day.

Such a unique and personalized experience. Our Driver/Tour Guide, Adrian, Really knew our interests and was able to key in on exactly what we wanted to see and how long we should spend at each location to make sure we didn't miss a thing. We experienced everything from Ancient hidden Forts, to spectacular historic castles, to somber, dark battlefields, to Whiskey made by the sea, to Magical standing stones, to breathtaking stunning Highland scenery, to Freshly shucked oysters AND, of course...Golf like nowhere else! A truly delightful and complete travel experience. We highly recommend Inspiring Travel Scotland for anyone seeking to really explore this incredible country.

Our family just completed a 10 day private tour of Scotland in August 2024, designed by Paul at Inspiring Travel Scotland. Paul specializes in private tours which is just what we needed with 4 adults and 2 young girls in our group. Paul is very attentive to detail, looking after absolutely everything for us. Tickets to the outstanding Military Tattoo, Harry Potter Train, afternoon tea and private Scotch tasting at Culloden House, to  name only a few. Hotel accommodations were absolutely amazing.

A trip of this kind takes a lot of planning and Paul responded to each of my emails promptly, professionally and accommodating each request without fail.  Our guide was always right on cue, and delivered us to our wonderful accommodations without issue! It was so nice not to worry about parking, navigating, where we were going or how we were going to get there.

Our guide throughout was Fergus. Do request him for your tour. He will not disappoint!  Fergus was an amazing fit for our group. He is very knowledgeable about Scotland, easily accommodating bathroom breaks and last minute requests. His luxury van easily accommodated our group of 6, and he is a very safe driver. One highlight was a visit to Culloden battle field where he brought along a rifle, sword and shield to reenact the battle for us. Not sure who enjoyed that more, the adults or children. Or Fergus!

I have no problem recommending Paul and Fergus for Scotland touring.

We had the most amazing time in Scotland. We stayed in very unique hotels and toured around with our knowledge driver to sights and places made it fun and relaxing! Everything was taken care of so all we had to do is enjoy what was around us. The extra day for seeing places my ancestors lived was all I could hope for! For the last 20 year's my two friends and I have been dreaming about a girl's trip to Scotland for our 40th bday. After reaching out to over 20 different companies, I picked Inspiring Travel. Working with Paul to build an Outlander themed trip paired with other historical sights, food, and accommodations was the MOST FUN experience. He (and the whole Inspiring Team) built the trip of a lifetime. He worked with our budget, our weird quirks, and even set us up with a tour guide, Alastair who fondly became our "Tour Dad." Paul and Inspiring Travel had amazing communication during our year of planning and blew our minds. We stayed in MIND BLOWING accommodations during our 7 day trip. (Glencoe House being our FAV!) This trip has ruined all other trips for me because it was SO perfectly tailored to our personalities! I can't recommend this company enough- already saving up so we can go back again! Our family just had the most amazing Scottish Highland adventure thanks to our guide, Fergus and operator Paul at Inspiring Travel. We were originally going to try and do everything on our own based on an itinerary we saw posted by Inspiring Travel. After much deliberation, we opted to spend the extra money to have a private guide take us all around the Highlands. Paul communicated very well with us throughout all of the planning stages then Fergus picked us up in Glasgow. His depth of knowledge of the Neolithic era combined with his own personal experience growing up in the Highlands really brought to life the rich history and cultural aspects of the Scottish people. We have two young children aged 3 and 6 and Fergus adjusted plans seamlessly based on weather, our interests and the ever changing needs of little ones. Our accommodations were top notch and we felt very well taken care of but most valuable to us is feeling like we have a new family friend in Fergus not to mention so many cherished memories we will carry with us back home.
