We were on A Tale of Two Cities (Ireland) Enjoyed the titanic experience and we went to see the city halls which was also very interesting. Second day we were taken to Enchanting Enniskillen which was not very enchanting my sister and I and a few other passengers were wanting to go on a river cruise the driver did not know anything about them
We found out we did not have enough time as the cruise was from 12.15 to 2.15 we were getting picked up at 2.00. As the driver said we had to be back at the hotel for 3.00 why we don’t know if Eclipse or the driver had done their homework we would have been able to go on a cruise instead of walking about a town that was like every other town a bit run down. The next day we went to Dublin was able to go on the open top bus which was good grab a quick snack as we were getting picked up at 3. All in all we spent far too much time on the bus and with no itinerary we were kept in the dark until the night before we were picked up at 9.30 in the morning so we had no time to use the hotels marvellous swimming pool. This is not the first tour we have done with Eclipse but not sure if we would do another trip.

Just returned from a holiday in Ireland. First time with Eclipse but definitely not the last. Picked up by taxi on time and bus and ferry worked like clockwork. Hotel fantastic and nothing too much for staff. Tours went toBelfast and Dublin very interesting. Finally our driver Glenn was friendly, a real people person and did his job of driving very well. Highly recommended trip.

Just back from a great 5 day tour of Oxford, Cambridge and Windsor with Eclipse. The taxi taking us to the pick up point was bang on time and the driver helped with our luggage. The coach was very comfortable with an on board toilet although we had 2 good comfort breaks on the way. The driver, Alex, was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. He kept us informed at all times and could answer any questions asked. The locations were stunning and we had plenty of time to explore and see the cities tourist sites. The hotel was a bit remote but after the days sight seeing it was good just to have dinner and chill out. This was our first trip by coach and we looked at other companies but we picked Eclipse after a recommendation. The door to door feature is brilliant and to anyone thinking about a coach trip I would say don,t think about it, do it, you,ll not regret it and I would definitely recommend Eclipse.

Don’t think the trip to the anniversary bash on the 12th May to loch long hotel in arrochar is even worth 1 star. It was suppose to be a compensation from last trip (which never delivered what holiday specified) but it fell short. The hotel was a joke honestly like faulty towers, so un organised rooms were awful, stained curtains hanging off rail, chipped bath, very dirty. The breakfast was inedible, cold the so called full breakfast consisted of half a slice of black pudding, half a tinned tomato and uncooked sausage, limp bacon a quarter of potato scone all cold, even tea was cold. We had to stand in que for a glass for orange juice and had to ask for a cup for tea which of course was cold even had to ask for a plate to put toast on and a bowl for cereal. All in all a total shambles.
I thought eclipse were going to show us a lovely time to try put right our last experience with them but I’m afraid it only confirmed that we will never travel with them again.

This was our first experience of travelling with Eclipse and hopefully won't be our last. Their customer service is excellent. From the original booking via telephone until the query about taxi collection on returning home, the staff were friendly and dealt with everything promptly.
Our coach was very comfortable and the driver was first class. He was cheerful, caring and, most importantly, a very good driver. He even cleaned the coach each night.

First time travelling with Eclipse and wasn't disappointed. We travelled to our base in Newcastle and spent a day at Beamish and a day in Durham . Very well organised with some extra touches. Didn't do the trip to Seahouses and Holy Isle instead spent some time seeing Newcastle. A special mention to Paul our driver who was very professional and kept us well informed at all times. We certainly would travel with Eclipse again.

My mum's just returned today 7/9/23 from a bus tour to Orkney. She doesn't do much online so I've offered to write this for her. She said Paul was an excellent driver and very helpful during the bus tour, the best driver she's had on any Eclipse bus tour and she wanted to leave a positive review for him . She enjoyed her holiday and the daily tours.
