I use Tartan all the time, I find them very reliable and friendly & the prices are undeniably cheaper than the rest of Falkirk area. I have had long distance quotes of at least £20 cheaper than other companies, and they always honour their price.

Compelled to write this review after being stuck at Polmont station yesterday with no trains to Edinburgh. A lovely girl came running down the platform after noticing I was stuck with my 3 year old daughter - and said her dad was a taxi driver, they were going to edinburgh anyway & we could jump in for free! This was an absolute Godsend & I can't thank "Martain fae Tartan" enough for his kindness! Dropped me right at the door of where I needed to be & chatted away making myself and my wee girl feel very at home throughout the journey. He point blank refused to take any money. Above and beyond the call of duty. Nice to be reminded that there truly are lovely humans on this earth still 🥰

I use tartan line every Wednesday to get me to my Wednesday club and they are absolutely amazing app is amazing and the drivers and operator's are very friendly and chatty and the cars are really clean and arrive 5 minutes before the booked time which is good keep up the good work and I recommend them

I had Tartan taxis collect me from Edinburgh Airport and take me back a few days later. The staff at the end of the phone were very friendly and polite and although when i first arrived it took a while to find my driver (due to me being in the wrong area), the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Alan was brilliant, giving me good advice for places to visit, then we had a lovely lady driver, Michael and another man, all of which were very nice indeed. The cars were in perfect condition inside and out, they arrived on time and were all very accommodating and helpful. Being a solo female traveller a couple of times, i felt completely safe with Alan and Michael. Their prices are competitive with other companies. I am shocked at some of the reviews that have been given, but that was some time ago. Tartan taxis are brilliant and i would continue to use these in future. In fact my work colleague will also be using them from now on. Keep up the brilliant service! 👏

Really good service, ordered through the phone, once a cab was booked I got a link to download the app where I was able to accurately track my driver's location.

The driver was very friendly and had a good chat.

Normally I drive myself, but could not as I had a hospital appointment no driving. I booked hire yesterday for today received a confirmation text, then today text to say cab was on the way then another minutes later on arrival. Driver chatted all the way there arrived approx. 15 minutes later. I should have asked for his name I apologize. No complaints does what it says on the tin.

I relied on this company to take several people home following a work event, and there was a mix of local and of people requiring to travel further afield, Stirling and Alloa from Polmont. I managed to get everyone out the event and home in quite a quick turn around and very little wait time. The person who took the details was amazing, friendly and efficient, and the whole thing went really well, with very little stress for all involved. I would definitely recommend them

Phoned up this morning to book with my usual taxi company and they were unavailable so instead I called tartan. I wish I hadn't. I phoned up and booked a taxi for quarter to nine. when quarter to nine came I went outside to wait along with my 3 year old. the taxi did not turn up at the booking time and when I called up I got told that I was next on the list and the taxi was just waiting to be cleared. the lady on the phone couldn't even tell me how long it would be. After waiting another 5 minutes I phoned again and basically had to beg her to at least tell me how long it would be. I asked her why a booked would be confirmed if there wouldn't be any drivers and she merely replied "oh we wouldn't know at the time." I will not be using tartan again. not only was my son late I was extra late, when I had booked a taxi to avoid being late in the first place. an absolute disgrace.

There was a discrepancy regarding our booking after the Runrig gig Stirling, we were at risk of being stuck in Stirling. Tartan pulled out all the stops and after some discussion with them and my hubby we got back to our B and B in Grangemouth. Many thanks to them. Driver was very polite and chatty. Car was lovely and clean, and price very reasonable . We would highly recommend and will use them again when in the area.
