Very cool way of learning the town's history. St Andrews looks amazing at night. Richard the tour guide is very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I enjoyed the history facts more than the ghost stories. The latter should definitely be presented more as fun trivia rather than serious information.

Great tour with our guide Richard, he was very informative and a good host. We were a small party but that didn't dampen his obvious enthusiasm for all things paranormal. Did see any ghost's but did feel very cold and uneasy at the eye of the needle arch, a strange cold eerie place. Good value and would recommend

If you really want a tour that explains and discusses the paranormal, then do not miss this tour. Richard Falconer is an expert on the subject and not just the ghosts of St Andrews. This is not a tour for those just coming along for laughs. Richard is extremely knowledgeable on the subject and I came away both impressed and so glad that I had found such a fascinating person to take me round the beautiful but definitely haunted town of St Andrews

Wonderful atmospheric tour. Our tour guide was very informative. Learnt loads of history of St Andrews. A few things/places that were pointed out as the tour progressed were significant, and I would have completely missed. In fact I wouldn't have glanced twice at if I was walking around St Andrews by myself. Totally recommend to anyone who loves history and has an open mind.

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, this tour is well worth your time. A fascinating insight in to the history of St Andrews, Richard knows his stuff and having researched the area for decades, can provide detailed information on just about any area! We booked the 21:00 tour and walked all over the town, with buildings being pointed out for quirks, their history, and of course the ghosts associated with them. It was an hour an a half and I wish it was ten times longer! He is so knowledgable, time spent with him is a privilege, thoroughly enjoyed this and I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to know more about the St Andrews darker side and history.

We loved this tour. We went in February and we had a great time. Richard was a fabulous guide and I bought one of his books at Waterstones the following afternoon. Fascinating tour and a great way to learn the town's history.
