My Dad, brothers and I recently took a golf trip to Scotland. We started our trip in Dornoch and ended in North Berwick. We played Brora, Royal Dornoch, Castle Stuart, North Berwick, Dunbar, Gullane and Kilspindie. Brian and Marilyn were with us every step of the way and were instrumental in planning all the important details of the trip. They gave us lots of flexibility and options if we ever had a change in our plans! Brian and Marilyn are extremely knowledgeable about the golf courses and areas we stayed. They are absolutely lovely people to spend a week with as well! I would absolutely recommend the Links Connection to anyone planning a trip to Scotland or Ireland!

My three sons and I recently completed a seven day golf trip to Scotland lead by Marilyn and Brian Ewing, owners of Then Links Connection. A neighbor of ours had used the Ewings for a Scotland trip in 2022 and became good friends and I had an opportunity to spend some time with them prior to signing up. To know the Ewings is in itself a pleasure...warm, friendly, smart, passionate about both golf and Scotland. What I liked best is that they had personally been to the courses, hotels, restaurants, etc., in the areas we decided to play (they in fact live in St. Andrews).
Once I signed up with The Links Connection in the spring of 2023, I worked closely with Marilyn to design the trip that was to take place in September, 2024. I found her very knowledgable, easy to work with, flexible and most importantly she always seemed to have my best interest in mind. For example, we had some unexpected personal situations come up that required changes to the "plan" that she handled "in stride" and with a "can do" attitude...never making me feel like it was an inconvenience.
The trip that we thought of as "once in a lifetime", turned out to be just that. We played six times, staying in the Highlands our first three nights and then onto North Berwick for the final three. Marilyn and Brian were with us the whole time...picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, driving us to the hotel (and anywhere else we wanted to go), making dinner reservations, showing up at the first tee to check us in...Brian even walked the courses with us at times! The cool thing though is that they also gave us our space...we never felt smothered; in fact, their presence added value to the trip.
And then there was the golf, the scenery, the people, the history...my sons an I are still on a "high" from this trip...and that was a month ago! Thanks you Ewings...you exceeded are expectations!

Brian and Marilyn were over the top hospitable and accommodating. They took care of us like family as we traveled across Scotland playing golf and sightseeing. I couldn’t recommend the Links Connection more strongly than saying I’d use their services again in a heartbeat.
