This was brilliant. I cannot fault Piotr. He had so much knowledge, kept everything interesting, made me feel comfortable and I’m terrified of the water so that’s not easy to do.

Really enjoyed the time, learned so much about the area and its past and present. Seen some cool things I wouldn’t have noticed by myself, and learned much more about kayaking.

A fantastic trip on the River Tay from Broughty Ferry Castle. An early start meant we could catch the sunrise over the Tay estuary with seals bobbing beside us as we paddled.
Piotr is a great guide. Friendly, experienced and very knowledgeable. We were well looked after and it was clear our safety was Piotr's main priority, so we could relax and enjoy the journey. Piotr is also full of facts about the history, nature, the movement of the river, and how to read this.
We will be booking again soon.

Amazing experience worth every penny! Piotr is an incredible instructor and guide. He was very supportive for my friend and I who were complete novices, and he was always happy to help with any queries we had. Also very educational: he explained a great deal kayaking in a way we could understand, but also has incredible knowledge about local and Scottish wild life/geography in general!

We both had a great time and already looking at doing future experiences with Piotr! If considering booking, definitely go for it as safe to say you won’t regret it.

Highly recommended for kayaking trips. Fantastic local knowledge, great variety of locations and an ideal way to build your own knowledge and confidence whilst enjoying the experience. Nothing is too much trouble for Piotr.

I have done a couple of trips now with Outdoor Explore and both have been hugely enjoyable. One was a gentle paddle on the River Isla with lots of bird life to see and peace in all directions. The other was on the River Tay at Broughty Ferry which is a great way to see the place from a different angle. Piotr is an excellent instructor, he takes the time to get you comfortable in the kayak before setting off and is patient with those, like myself, who have little experience. As for his guide skills, he knows his stuff on local history and sights and I learned some new things despite living in the area for 25 years. Will definitely be booking again as there is a wide selection of different tours and the experience overall is excellent!
