5 Stars - Unforgettable Mum & Son Day Out!
My son and I visited Wild Cairns today and had an absolutely amazing time! We tried the airsoft zombie shooting and axe throwing—both were so much fun and had we had a great laugh. It was such a unique and memorable bonding experience. The staff were friendly and the activities were really well run.
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for something a bit different to do—especially if you’re after some quality family time.
(Also, it’s a pretty great feeling to beat your Call of Duty-loving kid at his own game!)

We had a voucher for axe throwing at Wild Cairns. It is located near North Berwick, in East Lothian (easy to reach from Edinburgh). There are 2 targets which was ideal for us as a couple. There were different weapons to try out. Large axis with wooden handles, smaller metal axes and knives. The knives were definitely the hardest out the 3 options. We found the metal axes the easiest to throw.
Jade was our instructor and helped us with our throwing technique, suggesting alternatives if one technique didn't suit.
The set up is outside. We were lucky as the morning was dry (later it was very wet so wouldn't have been as much fun. Suggest covering the area people are standing to throw, in case of rain.
We were also given a wee try of the gun range. This was a nice surprise. They also have an obstacle course and can run team building/group activities.
Would highly recommend Wild Cairn.

We made it round the 11/2 mile assault course….. Go Team Numpties. Led by instructor Jade who was great at motivating us to take on the challenge. Great to use the UK’s longest water slide and the over cast weather didn’t dampen our spirits. Oh and the Burpee warm up never gets any easier.

We had such a great time at the airsoft gun range, the instructor was friendly and great with the kids, putting them right at ease and making sure they got some shots on target. Would definitely visit again!

Great way to entertain the kids (and adults) … especially when your boys are Call of Duty fanatics!!! Scott was a great host and the boys were well looked after, getting to choose which guns to use for a little healthy competition. Definitely on our list to return and to experience the obstacle course.

We visited Wild Cairns today for my sons 13th birthday. They did the assault course and had so much fun. This place is amazing and that is down to the owners. Their hospitality was above anything, I have ever received at a party before. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of there way to make it as enjoyable as possible. The assault course itself was great, the kids had a blast, especially the water slide! We will definitely be back.

If you are looking for something for friends, family, parties this is the place.

We also had food and it was delicious, well done Gillian for cooking, on your day off.

Scott and Gus we wish you the best success for the future of Wild Cairns and we will definitely be back soon.

A fun morning trying to hit targets with a few different rifles and a sniper trial too!
Scott is very helpful, cheery and accommodating, making sure you enjoy your experience. Definitely recommend. What a buzz!

We had our daughter's 11th birthday party at Wild Cairns last month and Scott and the team could not have done any more to give the kids an experience never to be forgotten!!! She had friends from various sports she plays and some from her class, not all knew each other and definitely not all were certain about getting muddy but by the end they were all well covered in mud, had big smiles on their faces and had had a fab time helping and cheering each other on, some even saying they know what they want to do for their next birthday. Thanks once again Scott and team for a muddy awesome time!
