One of our very favorite experiences we’ve done Edinburgh! I don’t want to give away too many details because it’s so fun to experience it first hand, but the gore, lore, and puns were amazing. It was about an hour and half long, and it flew by because it was so interesting. Every corner is a new scare ❤️👏🏼

Fantastic tour! Highly enjoyable evening and a great way to explore Edinburgh at night. We found the tour guides to be hilarious, and the content to be well-researched and interesting. Mr Clapperton and his sidekick "The Mad Monk" made us laugh with the costume changes and interesting anecdotes. Would recommend this tour for anyone who wants a unique perspective on Edinburgh's darker side.

We did the Ghost & Ghoul tour of Edinburgh meeting outside The Witchery.
The guide Mr Clapperton was funny,informative with stories of witchcraft,murder, hangings and all sorts of ghoulish historical tales
The walking tour is around an hour and a half.but the time flies by.
The tales are in quiet spots, off the beaten track,making the experience even more spooky.
With a bit of participation from the small crowd,it is time not too scary but more importantly fun !!
There are a few surprises along the way too.
Many thanks to Mr Clapperton and his comrade who were a wealth of knowledge as well as humour .
Recommended for a fun evening.

Great wee walking tour of the top part of the Old Town, lasts about an hour and 15 mins, not taxing physically at all. Suitable for age 8+ I'd say. Very entertaining, we are locals but still learned a lot, some great stories and fun with the 'jumper ooter'!

A Must When In Edinburgh.
Wish I could rate this experience more than 5/5.
Brilliant. Had an intimate group on our cold and dark nights tour. Tour was full of fun, facts, jokes, scariest. Great characters, top class. Wish I was better at writing to praise this tour better but this was my favourite thing we did in Edinburgh and we did almost everything.

Absolutely fantastic tour, AMAZING acting and costumes, overall very entertaining and despite having been on three different tours before I still learned something new on this one. The content is well-balanced, it doesn't dwell on just witches or just ghosts, and presents actual history as opposed to rumours or stories of supernatural experiences (as was the case with some tours) which is exactly what I like, presented realistically and without exaggeration as well. This is the most excellent tour I've been on so far and I'll definitely come back next time I have guests in Edinburgh.

This tour was fantastic! It was a small group so it was very personal. Our guide (and his cousin David) both provided their own stories that they’ve personally researched, so we learned bits that we wouldn’t have learned elsewhere. It was amazing! Thanks robin and cousin David - you both killed it!
