Had such a great time with our guides Stewart and Mark! Stewart was a responsible and knowledgeable guide, and Mark was really friendly and funny!

The stories they told about each place were very eye-opening and I found myself learning a lot about Scotland. Seeing views straight out of fantasy while listening to epic thematic tunes is unforgettable! Cannot recommend this tour enough

The hostel was lovely and clean, and the lounge had the best views, very comfy. Enjoyed listening to the conversations there, especially John, the guy who was taking care of the house who is also such an interesting character.

I’ve joined the 3-day Isle of Skye tour, and it was really great!!! Our guide Stewart is very knowledgeable and passionate, he talked about Scottish history/culture during the drive and filled our trip with plenty of musics regarding the story/place. 🎧

You can definitely take a lot of great pictures, have some hikes (remember to bring your hiking shoes) and even swim in Loch Ness (if you wish to🤣) .

The Hostel in both Edinburgh (Castle Rock Hostel) and Kyleakin ( Lochbuie Guest House) are very clean and comfy.

I enjoyed the tour a lot ! Thank you MacBackpacker and Stewart for the memorable adventure ! Highly recommend ! ! !

Had an amazing time with MacBackpackers during my 3-day tour up to the Isle of Skye. Neil & Stewart were an amazing duo, and I so appreciated their stories and all the knowledge shared with us. Neil is a seasoned tour guide and the hilarious and engaging folklore origin stories he told along our stops made the experience even more special. I am already looking forward to planning a return trip to Scotland and booking more tours to other parts of the country!

This was the best experience of my life! Our tour guide Neil was hilarious, exciting, and knowledgeable. He taught me so much about Scotland and my heritage that I had absolutely no idea about. The views were stunning and literally will never be topped in the rest of my life.

The hostel was cozy and clean and had very soft beds. Breakfast was included and all needs were met. The hikes were simple and paved, and all activities were well planned so that it was not a labor-heavy trip. This is definitely a manageable, comfortable, and exhilarating journey.

I found a huge piece of myself on this trip just like many before me have. I cannot recommend MacBackpackers and Neil enough. Please get out there to see the breathtaking views of Scotland and find a piece of yourself you didn't know was there!

I booked the 3 day tour and it was amazing! Branka was an amazing tour guide. She took us to lots of gorgeous places, many of which are less well known which was awesome! It was one of my favorite trips in Scotland, and I would highly recommended. She goes out of her way to make sure everyone has a good time and her stories are wonderful! Such a beautiful tour, and a fantastic guide. If you want to experience the majestic beauty of Scotland book this tour!

Neil was amazing; he explained everything in great detail and ensured we saw the best of things according to the weather. He was kind, funny, and helpful, and we visited some of the best places in the Highlands.

Understanding the history and stories behind the places made us connect more deeply, allowing us to experience them fully. I loved my time in Scotland and will be back soon for a longer trip.

I have been on a trip with macbackpackers on 3 days Isle of Skye. It was an awesome trip all credits goes to @Mark and @Stuart. Stuart is a knowledgeable guy having insights about Scottish history and is deeply rooted with Scottish culture. Stuart is full of energy and passion. Mark, on the other hand, is a witty man having a good sense of humour. I loved travelling with them and would recommend everyone to choose macbackpackers for their Scottish adventures.

I went on the 3 day Isle of Sky tour and had the most incredible time. Branka is a wonderful human with a clear passion for storytelling, Scottish culture/history and connecting with other people. She made sure to get to know each and everyone of the tour participants. I learned more about Scottish history and folklore than I could’ve dreamt and had the opportunity to see some amazing places. Its a busy couple days but they really try and squeeze everything in that they can with the time provided! This tour experience is so much more than just sitting on a bus and hearing someone talk. It was incredible and I made memories I’ll never forget.
