For a small bus operator in Scotland they really do try hard. Drivers are mostly friendly and helpful. I have used them a couple of times and for the most part have seen drivers even get off the bus to assist elderly persons on and off the bus.

I have emergency tickets to Japan I call place talked to Doug...he call .e right away and get ticket
He is outstanding customer service and friendly really really appreciated!!

At Avonbridge on Friday , i tooted so the driver could maybe move forward but he was too busy on a smoke break to realise he was blocking the road. I had to use the car park for the shop to get round . Saying that, the delivery van driver wasn't helpful either

31 Livingston to Bathgate was 10 minutes early this evening and as a result cost us £6 for a taxi. We saw it whizz past as we were approaching the bus stop. This also happened on Wednesday with the L1 at the stop after Linlithgow cross. We managed to get a lift home with a friend and saw the bus parked at a lay-by waiting till his time to go to the next stop.

Just got cut up by one of the buses transporting school children, if this is how your drivers are I think I would be scared putting my child on one of your buses. Incident happened 5th March 2024 @ 16:10 burbank road Grangemouth. So your bus doesn't do Grangemouth not what falkirk council website says transporting kids from St Mungos high.

To start this review off, despite the three stars, SD travel have generally been good in my opinion. Where I find them lacking, is the inconsistency regarding bus tickets. I find myself buying a return to Linlithgow (from Livingston) at least once a week. On the return journey, the driver sometimes tells me to just get, and sometimes rips a hole in the ticket. Other times the driver takes the ticket from me, and I have to say that I need to claim that back for work, which they often give back. One driver this week was particularly rude to me. One other customer even approached me on the bus and said to me that she noticed this. It was over me saying to the driver that I need to claim the ticket back for work, and he says that I can’t, as I have already bought it. I say it is for work, and repeatedly says to me that he doesn’t want it.

I believe that SD travel a good local company, but there needs to be more consistency among drivers regarding return tickets.

Thanks once again to made me arrive late at the bus station and lose my train home. Why your drivers wasting time go down a turning near the station (took at least 2 minutes) where I never see anyone get out/get in the bus. No apologies for the lateness and your driver kind smiled.

My 31 bus from bathgate was late as the driver decided to have a cigarette and make a personal phone call we left five mins late and as a result missed my bus connection in linlithgow not professional
