We took the brilliant Comedy Tour of Edinburgh yesterday with the very clever and hilarious Daniel and the extremely handsome Brahan the dog. Laughed till my cheeks hurt, learnt some interesting facts about Edinburgh and got lost of cuddles from Brahan. An excellent afternoon all round and couldn’t recommend it enough. My partner and I did this walking tour on our first day in Edinburgh to help keep us awake and get a general sense of the city. Daniel and his adorable dog Brahan were amazing and hilarious guides. The tour was informative (I learned so much!) and funny and just the right amount of activity for us. Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our walk with Daniel and the gorgeous Brahan, the Bonny Prince. Daniel knows his stuff and, through his knowledge, it was great to see Edinburgh and it's history through different eyes. Myself and my friends are Scottish and it was so interesting to learn about aspects of our own country's history. Other than that, he is genuinely funny - the way he learns about each member of the group at the start of the walk makes everyone feel included - and fair game for being part of the act! His humour is close to the bone, which is well advertised, but I'd recommend this walk as something a wee bit different where you will maybe learn something, and definitely laugh a lot.

Had such a good time on the comedy walking tour that we booked the whisky tasting experience for the following day. Daniel was GREAT fun and made the already-interesting history of Edinburgh even MORE interesting. I would highly recommend both experiences with Mountebank!

Such a fun way to experience Edinburgh! Daniel was so knowledgeable and shared such interesting tidbits along the way - all while cracking us up with his wit, sassy humor, and transparent love of the amazing city of Edinburgh. Our two teenagers (who may or may not have been 16!) were thoroughly entertained, as were their parents. We highly recommend this unique way to experience Edinburgh.

Our experience was fantastic! We were super jet lagged but forgot all about that as soon as Daniel greeted us. He was hilarious and super knowledgeable about Scottish history and the history of Whisky making. We tasted 4 very different whiskies and all were good! We would highly recommend this tasting event with Daniel - and be prepared to be thoroughly entertained!
