I spent much of my holiday at this beach cleaning. 40+ buckets of beach litter. I also found parts of a boat, msny large pipes, pounds of cut & discarded fishing twine & ropes, 2 traffic cones, 4 buckets, 1000+ small drinking straws, shoes, bottle caps, and much more.

Collected some lovely beach glass. Enjoyed meeting all the lovely dogs & most of the people 🙂

When I came, the beach was completely covered with garbage, leaving I worry it's going to return to its previous state. On the one hot day we had this holiday, I watched a young family run all over the sand & into the water. Had I not cleaned up, they would not have had such beautiful memories.

I look forward to returning.

Not a golden sandy beach but beautiful + quiet. Fantastic views. No facilities but only 5 minutes from our caravan on Park Dean resort. Very close to Wemyss Bay train station + ferry.

Not much to do but a place to take the kiddies for a walk or to throw stones in the sea.

Beautiful place right on our doorstep. Fantastic views across to Bute, Cumbrae and Argyll. Too bad the beach area is quite uncared for and is frequently littered, either by debris washed up, or by visitors who don't take their litter home by with them.

Loved this place! Very quiet, nice place to relax with not many passers by. Would be great if there were public toilets nearby we could have spent the whole day here just playing on the beach. Great views!
