Truly a magical day! Up there with the best experiences of my life! Blessed with gorgeous weather, smooth water, efficient and kind crew, and so many birds!
Thousands of puffins, common murres, and razorbills,
that walked around within feet of you. Your puffin dreams will be fulfilled here. Many others- such as fulmars, kittiwakes, oystercatchers, plovers, wheatear, wrens, rock pipits, eiders… I couldn’t have asked for a better day.
Word of warning though- the landing beach is rocky, the climb and trails slightly treacherous. Not for someone with mobility issues.

Highlight of our trip to Mull, Staffa and Iona!

We took our 3 year old and our dog, and we had an ABSOLUTE AWESOME time! We saw seals, puffins, the incredible Fingal's Cave and finished with a stop on the Isle of Iona.

The crew were friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the area and local wildlife.

There were waterproofs and a toilet onboard the boat, and we found we had plenty of time to have a nice explore of both islands (Staffa and Iona).

Highly recommend one of these tours if you're visiting Mull. Pretty affordable too!

The wildlife tour was fantastic! We got to see so many puffins and various birds. The staff gave us a lot of information when we were on the boat.

Just one thing that I thought could be improved (but not necessarily but Staffa Tours): on Staffa there was a blue line next to the puffins nests to avoid people from walking there. But it wasn't on Lunga, and I think it should be everywhere tourists come to see puffins during the nesting season so that we don't have a negative impact on them.

We recently booked the Staffa Tours trip from Tobermory to Staffa and Lunga.
I have never seen Puffins before, so I desperately wanted to take this trip.
The journey was very choppy due to strong winds, which made the day even more memorable. My son loved as the waves came over the boat on our journey there and back. It was a real adventure.
We arrived at Staffa to see the magnificent Fingals Cave before heading over to Lunga on the Treshnish Isles. We were not disappointed. The island was alive with birds, a real sight to behold. The wonderful characters of the Puffins were breathtaking.
On the journey back, we were treated to the North Atlantic Seals as well as a majestic Sea Eagle.
It was an incredible trip and a brilliant tour that will forever remain in my memory. This tour is highly recommended.

What a great 3 hr trip we had from Fionnphort to Staffa. Spectacular Fingals cave did not disappoint and puffins were a joy. 1 hr was only just enough to take in the island... don't miss that boat back! We got off at Iona and had afternoon there paying £1.75 for ferry back to Mull after a couple of pints ts in Argyle watching @ionaseafood doing his thang.

We did the 2hr Wildlife and Isle of Staffa Tour and had a great time. Really informative guides and good experience. There’s an inside bit for when it gets a bit chilly and a great upstairs viewing point - both were appreciated!

3 hour trip to Staffa from fionport was amazing. Approx 35 min boat to staff, 1 hour on Staffa (enough time to walk around and see fingals cave and to see some puffins) and then boat back (stopping at Iona to drop off anyone wanting to see the island). The boat was mostly open air but some space indoors if it's raining and a toilet

Had a great trip with Staffa Tours from Ffionnphort , we were fortunate with great weather. Fellas on board the boat were lovely and made sure everyone was safe and comfortable. Tour was informative and we were able to enjoy landing on the island as well as seeing it from the water. The steps up are steep so caution if you are not sure footed. We chose to land back at Iona as it was such a lovely day. Would definitely recommend Staffa tours and thought it was excellent value for money
