We really enjoyed our visit to the farm today. Fabulous to see the new lambs and all the other animals. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and you could tell they were all passionate about the well being of the animals. Outside area was great. I could see the summer months would be even more enjoyable with a bit of sunshine. We did visit on one of the coldest days of the year but it didn't spoil the the day!. 5 stars all the way

We’ve been coming to Monk Farm since my daughter was a toddler. She’s 14 now and still enjoys her time here. It’s such a lovely place to bring the kids. You get to feed, pet and, in some instances hold the animals. We had a lovely walk around the whole farm and seen lots of wonderful animals. We brought a picnic along and enjoyed it on many of the picnic tables dotted around.

Absolutely amazing day out , our first visit after a 4 hr round trip but certainly won't be our last! Highly recommend to anyone perfect has it is yet improving works ongoing to make even better!
We all had such a great day and all staff where amazing apart from 1 the ride operative he was saying oi to young kids I did correct him and say excuse me is correct term not on thats do very rude.... never apologised. When I asked if my daughter could go on barrel ride herself meaning is their a age parents must ride his reply was " you know your daughter better than me what do you think" he is letting the business down and lots parents where chatting about his behaviour
Otherwise Absolutely awesome day out & will be back!

Brilliant day, weather not brilliant but didn't matter, nice and clean, feeding the lambs and cuddling piglets, great experience. Cafe and food spot on to be fair and staff all round nice friendly and helpful. Definitely 100% be coming back, great day out. Even made a mug as a keepsake for the day out.

Lovely day out with family to this great farm in a beautiful setting. Plenty to occupy small children and lots of animals to pet, great learning experience through signage on the enclosures. Health & Safety well observed with plenty of reminders to wash hands etc.
The cafe serves excellent food and is not overpriced. We have visited many times with the grandchildren and it’s great place to find out about the many well cared for animals.

A lovely family day. We attended the Christmas event on 22/12/24. 6 adults and 3 children made up our party. The activities were well organised and the event was NOT oversubscribed (a refreshing change!) It actually felt quite calm. We saw visited the farm animals, saw Santa and the elf show, decorated biscuits and enjoyed the playground. The cafe facility was excellent and each adult ticket included a free hot chocolate. We asked for extra milk to cool the drinks (like molten lava) and were refused on the grounds the drink was complimentary. Now we all know it wasn’t complimentary and was included in the ticket price so that seemed petty beyond words. The only other downside was the state of the baby change. We actually changed our toddler standing on the floor because the changing facility was disgusting. I’m sure the owner will look to improve these areas now and so I feel sure you will enjoy your visit.

We had the BEST day!! Our doggy has never met so many creatures, it was magical! I felt like a kid all day, feeding the lambies, bouncing on the llama pillow with my nephews, and meeting all the lovely animals - it was just so lovely. We wouldn't normally be able to visit a place like this as doggies aren't allowed, so it was a really special family day out. For us we had 3 generations of our family there with my parents, us and my nephews with their doggy cousin 🥰 We made memories, had a gorgeous day together and really hope it went well for you all and you welcome doggies again soon. Our Isla LOVED her doggy lunch too, the sausage was gone in seconds 🤣 thank you so so much! Xxx

There were many activities to do, we loved meeting the animals (ducklings, chicks, guinea pigs, bunnies), bottles feeding the lambs, train and barrel rides.
The play areas are diverse and there was a sand pit too.
Also, the barn academy had lots of fun kids activities.
We spent a while day and we will definitely visit again.
Well done for all the great ideas and fun activities!
