DON’T BOOK WITH CHINA LINKS TRAVEL UK – CUSTOMER SERVICE IS POOR AND POOR VALUE COMPARED TO CHINA HOLIDAYS UK.
We booked a tailor-made tour over a year in advance, no dates were confirmed, however, as requested, we paid a deposit of £600. Then, with over 6 months still to go, and mainly due to declining health, we requested a shorter trip without hikes. China Links Travel gave us a quote that was 39% dearer than China Holidays UK, who quoted a price £355 cheaper per person for the same tour, in the same hotels. We raised this as we would have lost more than our deposit to continue with the booking. China Links had paid no outgoings on our behalf, because no dates were agreed. Whilst we understood they were under no legal obligation to refund our deposit, we requested a goodwill gesture which was refused. Very poor customer service and very poor value.

Just had the most fantastic and memorable holiday with China Links. Hotels were great and the tour guides were there to meet us on each leg of our holiday. Fast and full on but no other way of seeing such a vast country. Thanks
