Very knowledgeable and experienced staff with a fantastic family vibe. Everyone is so lovely and work is carried out to the highest standard.

Oil Leak not fixed and charged £300.00. I took my car to Martinet Motors to get an oil leak fixed and electrical fault. Electrical fault fixed but could decide where the oil leak was coming which I understand can be difficult, anyway found faulty cam cover diaphragm, charged 300.00 labour and parts. Still leaking after a few weeks, phoned Martinet Motors and said I would get steam cleaned and then checked, got checked a few days later no oil leak, run for a few more weeks and oil leaking again, phoned Martinet Motors, got a frosty reception, not nice to deal with, reluctantly booked in, decided not to take it, didnt like the attitude and didnt want the stress, and was in for days last time and had lost trust. Got it check today by independent garage today and was told that the cam cover was leaking, phoned Martinet Motors, I said it was a week over the 12 months warranty but I had been in touch during the year, they said on this occasion they would not fix it, so I said that this was unreasonable, to be honest they made me feel like crap, not happy they have not done the job correctly and make you feel as if it your fault not good business or customer service. Would not recommend this garage.

Martinet came highly recommended by my local garage when my Citroen proved too complex for them to fix.

They were extremely helpful, obviously know what they are doing and were excellent at keeping me updated as to the progress.

It cost what they thought it would and had me back on the road in time for Christmas.

Amazing garage. I called in at 9am on a Monday morning with a request to have someone look at my car following an oil leak. The guys managed to fit me in for 2pm same day, turns out the oil cap hadn’t been fastened after a recent service (at another garage), so they fitted a new washer and set everything right within 15 minutes and no charge. I’m so grateful and would highly recommend.

I bought a Tiguan from Martinet Motor Company in December 2021 and one Sunday at the beginning of the following March I found an issue with the sunroof. Monday morning I left the car in with them to take a look at it. At this point I was starting to imagine the hit my bank balance would take for the repairs. It was a difficult fix, which involved taking the whole sunroof unit out and the interior headlining, taking the unit apart and servicing all the working parts. When I went to collect the car, it was like new; not only had Ian fixed the sunroof, but they had also fully cleaned and valeted the car. The care and attention to detail in the repair and presentation of the car was outstanding. The cost for all this work? £0. Yes, zero. Covered by their “No Quibble Guarantee”. To find such integrity and workmanship is rare; they have a new lifelong customer and I’ll be recommending them to everyone.

I have used this garage for over twelve years and for the past four have travelled a forty mile round trip to get there. We have built up a trusting relationship over this time so I wouldn't go anywhere else. The team are happy to answer my questions, explain issues and are passionate about vehicles; they are not just mechanics. Hourly rates are far better than main dealership workshops and they have the computing kit to analyse and fix codes. In my experience they consider the longer term reliability and maintenance of vehicles and help me preempt issues. They are happy to work with specialist and imported vehicles too.
