We are on holiday and had 3 days of riding lessons and ended with a carriage driving session. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable. They are so knowledgeable about horses and their care, and shared all of this with us. It was so professional and well run.

What a wonderful time! We visited Sherwood Forest and came across Coloured Cobs for a pony trek. It was excellent value and catered for all skills! We were excellently looked after and any anxiety from less experienced riders was calmed by expert handling of the horses along the trek by experienced and very friendly riders from the stable. I would absolutely recommend a visit to anyone. Thank you to Gail and the team from Gemma and the girls xx

I had a fantastic trail ride today at The Coloured Cobb. The young lady who took me on the ride was very lovely and so was the horse that I rode. His name was Finlay and he was an absolute rock. He had the loveliest personality and gave me lots of nuzzles after the ride was over. The ride was scenic and if I am ever in Creswell again I will definitely go for another ride, and I would love to take my daughter one day.

The area is beautiful and very scenic.

My daughter-in-law and granddaughter went for the first time yesterday. What a fantastic well organised set up.
Gail was so helpful all the horses look brilliant and very well cared for. Andy who led my granddaughter on Phoneix was lovely she was a little apprehensive but he was reassuring, funny and patient.

Wonderful and welcoming stables. Horses are well cared for and happy. The local area is stunning and lovely to trek around. Staff are knowledgeable and understanding and try their best to accommodate everyone's needs. Have yet to try a lesson however will be booking one in soon. Can't recommend this stables enough.

After searching for the perfect place to be able to cater for both my children and myself Coloured Cob came up and had everything we needed, which were a variety of size horses, staff with understanding and patience the ability to have lessions or treak.
Not only have we found the perfect place for us to ride we have found new friends.
Coloured Cob has changed our lives in a way we can't describe.
I've rekindled my love for horses and remember the peace they bring helping with my mental health struggles.
My daughter has gained confidence and enjoying doing something that all her effort shows.
My son has found a new passion and the staff and horses have brought out a side of him that was very rarely seen by anyone. School have praised and friends and family have noticed a difference and a carm side. My son even said "I've been a lot better since going to the horses" the first thing he does is run to find Gail and tell her how good he has been.
The lessons are great very informative and you leave feeling accomplished and learn something new every time. The treaks around Cresswell Crags and surrounding area are so peaceful for us as my daughter and son build up to the faster paced rides.
We as a family highly recommend Coloured Cob
