Liked: Site was lovely, very big but sectioned off into different fields, very well kept grass pitches of a good size, everywhere was kept very clean, tidy and litter free by the groundsmen, it’s astonishing how many manky people leave their rubbish lying around.
Perfect location for us as we were visiting relatives close by. Also fantastic for Epping forest walks, totally surrounded by woodland and nature. Loved it!

Disliked: In field no. 5 we were quite a walk from the nearest toilet block for a night time visit and a little further away from the shower block for morning ablutions.

My bike got stolen from their yard. They said they security camera didn't work. One may reasonably suspect that they have stolen it themselves.

We stayed here with friends and family. We had the best time and created great memories . The site is well maintained . Toilets were clean . Staff were helpful and welcoming . The kids loved exploring the woodland areas . I can not recommend this place enough . I am already planning my next visit here ! Thank you to all the Debden team for creating a beautiful space for those who love the outdoor life but spend a lot of time in an office ! See you soon

The camping field we stayed in was nice - big pitches but not marked out so boundaries were unclear. Not necessarily a problem but we were next to a very large group (approx 7 units) that kept adding another tent and left us feeling like we were gate crashing their party. They also played very loud music during the day but it was lovely and quiet on both nights and mornings |The site staff (checking in/security) were fabulous. Friendly, helpful, efficient - They really made the place. Toilets and shower blocks were grim - very old and dirty, reminded me of old park toilets.|BUT the location was good for proximity to Lomdon, the site spacious and pleasant. We also phoned ahead and were given the thumbs up for taking a larger caravan so don't be put off if your caravan is larger than stated in the T&Cs but do check beforehand.

Very lovely campsite. Decent facilities, very reasonable prices for location and being close to London. Prompt security. The guys on the front desk have all been so lovely and accommodating.

Does need a little more care and attention to the centre toilet block. Soap ran out, toilet roll ran out, one of the hand dryers doesn't work. However, in comparison to other sites we almost definitely will be back here next year!

Liked: Good location with reasonable access to public transport. Well spaced pitches, number of pitches, open spaces within each field, friendliness of staff, relaxed atmosphere and fires/bbqs accepted, cafe on site.

Disliked: Additional toilet/wash facilities with more frequent cleaning during busier periods.

Stunning campsite, strong recommend! I spent two nights here alone and camped in Field 6. Gorgeous secluded field and chose a pitch to catch the evening sun. The site is lovely and well maintained, the access into Epping Forest is unparalleled, and Chris on reception could not have been more friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Not the cheapest to buy wood & kindling but so worth it to have a lovely fire. Perfect!

Lovely campsite. Lots of space. Friendly staff. Lovely for walks, being on the edge of the magnificent Epping Forest. Only issue was the distance to the toilets. Toilets they had were v clean but it was a long walk...Despite this, we will go back.
