Wonderful Easter 🐣 weekend. |Thank you Vanessa and Tina for all your contributions for making our weekend stay wonderful at your fantastic guest house. First of all your welcoming and friendliness is in abundance as soon as you walk through the door. First impressions are important and the car parking was spot on and the beautiful gardens surrounded us as we walked through the gate. The room we chose was delightful, immaculate, cozy and we were more than happy. Loved the chocolate bunny and love hearts.😀. Settled in and enjoyed a nice cuppa and a slice of lemon cake in the dining area whilst you gave us a mindful of local information and recommendations for eating out for whatever we fancied. We met the lovely Ruby (miniature schnauzer) then too. We chose and ordered our breakfast from the menu. We slept like logs as the room was so quiet and dark and importantly a comfortable bed. Vanessa’s Bircher overnight oats were absolutely delicious (I’ve brought the recipe home) one morning I had the full English breakfast (fantastic quality) and certainly set you up for the day. Following day I chose overnight oats again and the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Delicious. |Everywhere you recommended for our meals out were great. 👍🏻 |We thank you again and will definitely call back when we are in the area. |We feel we arrived as strangers but left as friends. 🤩

Outstanding. Vanessa and Tina were perfect hosts (plus Ruby, dog). From the minute we arrived until the day we left. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Such a beautiful, immaculate guest house to stay in with a lovely maintained garden with mature fruit trees which would be a joy in sit in the summer months. Gorgeous cooked breakfast and homemade overnight oats which certainly set us up for the day. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

I cannot recommend this lovely clean and beautiful b and b enough. The two ladies there are the most welcoming people never once did we feel awkward or uncomfortable with them. Extremely good size rooms perfect off road parking incase ur worried about your car perfect gardens. It’s exactly what you want in the perfect location and a really nice breakfast to top it all off.

Just back from a weekend break at the Grange , perfect from start to finish ! Tina and Vanessa are fantastic hosts and it feels like your staying with friends , the boutique hotel is full of character whilst retaining it's charm , attention to detail is amazing ! Comfy bed , great breakfast, lovely shower and cleanliness is outstanding will be back .

On arrival we were welcomed by Tina and her little Schnauzer Ruby and some delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake.|We stayed in the Whitby room at the front of the house. It was spacious and decorated in a lovely contemporary style. |The king size bed was extremely comfortable with good quality mattress, pillows and bed linen. The bathroom was equally good with a large walk-in shower, heated towel rail and thick white towels and bathrobes. Everything was spotlessly clean. Parking facilities were also great. ||Breakfast was a real treat with lots of lovely home cooked brekkie fodder on offer and Tina’s specialty boiled eggs are a must try!||Tina and Vanessa are a lovely couple with a good sense of humour and a mine of information on Thornton-Le-Dale and the surrounding area.||We enjoyed a couple of delicious meals at the Buck Inn, where everyone was very welcoming. We also did a lovely easy 8 mile walk from the guest house to Dalby and back. ||Thanks again Tina, Vanessa and Ruby for a lovely stay in your beautiful home.

A perfect weekend away with friends Lovely B&B, exceptionally clean. The hosts were so eager to make our stay a great experience. I can say they succeeded, we will be back to continue our rambling through Dalby Forest!|Whilst we were in the area we visited Helmsley and York!

Just returned from a lovely weekend at The Grange. This really is one of the best boutique B&B’s we have ever stayed in. We opted for the York suite which is extremely spacious, comfortable and definitely a cut above the competition. Tina and Vanessa are very friendly/welcoming hosts and have extensive knowledge of the local area, with some top tips on local attractions and the best places to eat out. Breakfasts are tip top, with a good range of different options, however the full cooked breakfast and the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon were first class. A big shout out to Vanessa for keeping the garden in beautiful condition - a lovely place to sit and relax in the sun and read a book. It’s clear that Tina and Vanessa have done their homework and I really think you would struggle to find anywhere to beat their offering. The standard of housekeeping and cleanliness are outstanding.

Just spent a short break with my wife at The Grange Guest House in the beautiful village of Thornton Le Dale, owners Tina & Vanessa and not forgetting their gorgeous dog Ruby were fantastic hosts. The bedrooms were exceptionally clean all en-suite with a very comfortable bed, all bedrooms are tastefully decorated as was the entire house a credit to them both. Breakfast full English of course (cereal also available) was cooked to perfection every day. There is a large well stocked garden at the rear of the house with patio areas to sit & unwind along with ample off road car parking. This was our 1st time there but won’t be the last the overall experience was one of complete satisfaction & enjoyment will stay longer next time.
