We have been coming here for about 5 years now, we come twice a year in April and August, we usually stay in one of the lodges but this time we stayed in patches pad (manorcombe 6) and it’s been the best so far, the park is right out side which is great for the kids, the bungalow is lovely, everything was nice and clean, all the rooms had smart tvs, beds were nice and big, 2 full sized sofas, it has an amazing hot tub, bbq and out door seating area with fenced decking, we have already booked to stay here again, the staff on site have always been great, the food is nice on site, the pool could do with some tlc, it has so much potential with the right mind. So far we have never had any issues, Kevin who manages this lodge has been amazing, we already can’t wait to come back.

Great place set in beautiful settings. 2 parks, and tree dens for children to play in. Also a big green for picnics and playing. Pubs, park, donkey Santuary, soft play within walking distance (although no pavements, roads are quiet but wouldn’t do this at nighttime). Bring your own tennis racquets and table tennis bats as you cannot borrow. Pool machine is £1. Air hockey not working. You can buy table tennis bats at small shop. Small shop does essentials and gifts but no alcohol. Inside pool warm and very spacious. It is clean too. Small changing rooms with 2 showers and changing rooms. More cubicles near pool, but we just walked back to lodge to shower. You have to book pool on website. Outside pool not open but looks small. Stream on-site too, where children and dogs can paddle. All grounds are kept up beautifully. Maintenance team very helpful. Pub onsite is good value for money. The carvery on Sunday was delicious and was just under £13. Outside they had giant chess and naughts and crosses to play. Louis tearooms were nearby (5 minute drive), with great food and view. Seaton beach was nearest sandy beach which had a park nearby. Nearest supermarket is Tesco (10 minute drive) although Asda delivered to our valley lodge. We also saw a variety of wildlife onsite, including squirrels, duck, bats and woodpecker. Would definitely recommend.

Just returned from a very cosy Christmas stay at Manorcombe Bungalow 12 Toby's Place. We had a wonderful stay, it was spotless and had everything you could possibly need supplied. Beds were all comfy and the bungalow was lovely and warm. Kids enjoyed the pool and went many times over the week. Had some lovely walks in the area with the dog and just enjoyed Christmas all together. Thanks for the welcome treats and Prosecco and Christmas tree all ready for us. Will hopefully return again soon.

We have recently spent a week staying at Honicombe, in one of the Valley Lodges. We have stayed here several times before, and it never fails to impress. The lodge was warm, clean and inviting, with plenty of room to relax . There was fresh, clean bed-linen in every bedroom, comfortable seating in the upstairs sitting/dining room, and a very clean and well-equipped small kitchen. We also enjoyed several excellent meals at the Honicombe Arms, beautifully home-cooked food and excellent, friendly service from all your lovely staff. |There are so many wonderful places to visit in the area, including some old favourites and new experiences - we loved some of the nearby attractions and adventure sites, as well as our usual trips to Looe, Polperro and Liskeard. Highlights of the holiday included a visit to the Lower Lake Shooting Ground in Liskeard, visits to Tintagel and Bodmin, and lovely days spent in Looe and Polperro, There was something for everyone and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honicombe.| Many, many thanks for a wonderful holiday !

Stayed at 26 Valley Lodge. Very good location, beautiful area to stay in. The lodge has everything you need, with parking very close, netflix, tv, kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower), 3 spacious bedrooms and a very relaxing hot tub. It is perfectly sound for a good night's sleep. One downside i would give for the lodges are that they are starting to feel a little outdated, looking 70s styled and in some places, a musty smell. Bathrooms are quite modern and great though, with heated mirrors with lights, and a big bath. Cleaning could be improved though, as the outdoor patio and balcony have moss growing on them, and there are occasional spider webs if you look closely.

For the whole park anyway, there is a leisure center and pub, which is great. But, if you're dealing with rubbish, it is sometimes hard to find any bins. Nice creeks running through the park with bridges to some lodges if needed. The provided internet in the lodges is fast, but good luck trying to get mobile data signal anywhere in this area.

Tesco nearby in Callington with amazing variety of produce, and 2 petrol stations nearby, one is an Asda Express with a shop. Plymouth and Tavistock are 2 nice places within one hour of driving.

AVOID AVOID AVOID! LODGE 26|Booked valley Lodge 26 at honnicombe park booked through Sykes cottages.( no issues with the booking very simple process with all info and key info ) |Arriving on Easter Bank holiday Monday after a 7.5 hr drive to the lodge. With 2 x children and one with special needs.|On arriving went to the lodge and put the key code in the secure box and NO KEY! on further investigation by looking through the window it was obvious that there were guests in the lodge.|I immediately called the contact numbers provided 0ne of the numbers was the owner TOM who did not answer or pick up or return my calls.|The second number was the caretakers who answered and I explained the situation and she immediately stated that the booking had been cancled with sykes the week before our holiday. ( I had no confirmation of this from sykes )|The caretaker then advised that the people in the lodge had been booked in the lodge on a separate booking from AirBNB.!|This left us stranded in Cornwall with NO ACCOMODATION!.|Whilst I wad on a call to sykes my partner managed to eventually speak to the owner Tom who was RUDE and DISSMISIVE and only said I've no idea how this has happened ( when he obviously did as by now we were talking to the guests who were already in the lodge who advised the had booked months earlier via AirBNB.)|The Disgusting Owner TOM offered no apologies or any solution to His Booking Errors.|I immediately called Sykes customer service bearing in mind this was now 5.30 pm on a bankholiday Monday.|On speaking to sykes and explained everything they advised they would investigate and get back to me.|After 30mins or so sykes called me back and confirmed they had spoken to the owner or caretaker and confirmed the lodge had been double booked via 2 x platforms ( sykes and Airbnb).|And they would pass to their out of hrs team to Try and find us alternative Accomodation.|They advised us to go and get some food and drinks etc from the onside pub and we would be reimbursed.|On visiting the pub and speaking to them and explaining the terrible position we were in they asked wich lodge we were referring to.|We said it was lodge 26! And their response ohhh yes TOM this does not surprise us!.|They had nothing nice to say about the owner and implied he is a vile person with no morals and this double booking has happened numerous times and due to his horrific booking practices and double booking guests they advised we were not the first family this has happened to and probably not the last.|The time was now 7pm and we made a decision to find alternative accommodation which we did via AirBNB at an additional cost of over £700 on top of the several hundred we had payed to sykes for Lodge 26.|All I can say is AVOID LODGE 26 AND THE OWNER TOM AT ALL COSTS.|Book this accomodation at your own peril.|You have been warned in an honest and truthful review.

THIS IS REVIEW FOR ONE PARTICULAR LODGE - SQUIRREL CREEK - HOLIDAY PARK PASSABLE - STAFF FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.||Arrived to a dark & cold property, that was once we eventually found it, very poor signage, none existent to be exact.|Once we had managed to get into the property there were dirty footprints on the floor in the hallway,no heating on so not very inviting. We were also greeted by a very horrible smell which stayed the whole week and was quite sickening, I had to buy candles and open the doors to try and mask it - it didn't work. |There were no towels when we arrived, I eventually managed to make contact with someone who said they could be delivered the next day, which they were.|So points to note:|The clock was wrong - no battery|Toilet dirty on arrival|Dirty footprints in hallway|No salt for dishwasher - I took tablets but don't tend to carry the salt too.|Blind in kitchen was off the runner so we couldn't open it.|Very dusty in main bedroom, dust hanging off walls and lampshade|Peanuts on the floor in twin|No hot water unless the booster was put on|Electric shower head doesn't stay up so sprayed the wall|Shower in en suite - head needs descaling, also not enough hot water to run it, no pressure|Extractor fan in en suite doesn't work|No hand soap in en suite, no hand soap in kitchen|Hot tub - lights not working,most of jets not working|No oven gloves in ktchen|Can opener didn't work, wheel didn't spin to cut can|No instructions to use hob, quite tempremental|Not enough crockery, or glassware and all glassware was mismatched and looked like it had been taken from a pub|Poor quality cutlery that bent when using it||Have sent owners and booking.com a message with feedback but had no acknowledgement after 2 weeks, therefore a poor review all round. Would definately NOT recommend this place at all. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Nice holiday village and probably much prettier in spring and summer.Shop just been taken over so work in progress when we were there but friendly new owners. Pub does very good meals with reasonable prices. We did not use the pool but it looked ok from outside.
