Lovely area quiet the day I visited, as it was out of season during the winter months. You can walk the coastal path from Rame head to there and back would be lovely during the summer months.

Fantastic ferry service with super helpful and kind staff. They very kindly helped to carry a wheelchair on board for us and were very helpful with boarding a member of our party with limited mobility, which was very much appreciated. Also staff are very informative with which trips are most suitable. Very exciting trip across the Sound. Lovely clean and well kept Ferry. We loved it so much that we visited again another day and did a return trip to the Barbican.

There is always a childhood memory associated with using this ferry, now I can share that with my own children, we had a lovely journey across to Mount Edgecombe and back, staff were very friendly, you can pay by cash or card, couldn't fault anything, timings were spot on, looking forward to taking my girls across again 👍

It was our first time to use the ferry in Mount Edgcumbe. It was a good experience, we were able to walk around Royal Williams yard. The ferry was on time to get back to Mount Edgcumbe 😎

A great way to get access Mount Edgcumbe. Best to check ferry crossing times first. You don't want to be waiting half an hour if you've missed the ferry, especially if you have children. Crew very helpful if you have a pram or bike. If there are events happening at Mount Edgcumbe they sometimes run two ferries which is useful as it can be very busy. Be aware that on spring tides - at low tide the slipway can be just that, slippery. Great opportunity to get some photos of Royal William Yard whilst you are on the ferry.

Really short trip and really cheap. There is quite alot to do around the ferry on the Cremyll side and a pub right on the door step. A nice, easy, quick way to get to Plymouth.

Great for a trip across to Mt Edgcombe. Essential for the South West coastal path which you can follow on from here. The path through to Kingsand and Cawsand is great. A longer walk will take you to St Michael's church and the Rame head pennisula.
