Stayed at Tolroy Manor during the Easter Holidays for the first time in 9 years and it was a bit of a shame to see that little seemed to have changed in that period. The accommodation we had was basic as expected but netherless fine for what we required. It was clean & tidy with all equipment required for a self catering property. It could have done with a touch up in terms of paint work but the only issue there really was, was that lamps were put in all 3 bedrooms but in two of them there no easily accessible power points to plug them in. The shop onsite was well stocked and competively priced so no complaints there. We arrived just before 9pm on our check in day and were handed our key and a map and we were told we were in a property and after that we were left to find it ourselves. The first major issue is the poor lighting in the car parking & accommodation areas make it very hard to find your property if it is dark & the weather is poor. Secondly the park could really do with tarmaccing the car park area (even if it is just one section per year) as it being just loose gravel makes the car park feel just like a overflow car park at theme park not somewhere you want to be driving your car everyday for fear of damaging it, and painting car parking spaces so you can easily park either at your property (with designated spaces for each property) or at least in the in the close vicinity to save having to drag luggage etc a long way especially if the weather is not great.|Also when we arrived we were given documents regarding opening hours of various places onsite including the pool, shop & restaurant. The first morning we were there we decided that because we were late arriving and hadn`t had time to go grocery shopping we would go and had breakfast in the restaurant. The information we had been given the night we arrived said that the restaurant opened at 10am for breakfast but when we got there we were told that they didn`t serve breakfast at the park (despite it saying so in the info we had been given) and we would be best served going to St Ives (not exactly local) for breakfast. Not sure its the best idea to give out information that is incorrect and then offer up an option that is 5 miles from your location as your best bet for getting breakfast. Also only having wi-fi available in the reception area(was told this by a member of staff who phoned the day before our arrival to make sure we were still planning on staying at the park) in 2025 seems a little behind the times - although there did seem to be some sort of wi-fi router in the property.|We have stayed in much worse places and paid much more for them but feel that with a little bit more tlc and money spent on some what I would call basic things that I could confidently recommend the park to people. It is such a good location to use as a base for a visit to southern Cornwall it is just a shame it falls short in a few areas.

This park is lovely. It's no-frills and a bit of a walk from Hayle but the accommodation is nice and it serves as a good base to explore the area. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. We booked into a silver house which had everything we needed. It's a good size and very comfortable. Previously we had stayed in a bungalow but found that was a bit small. The shop is well stocked and the takeaway food was delicious, although there's not a massive choice for vegetarians in the takeaway. This site is great value for money and great for a short break.

The accommodation was reasonable, would have been lovely to try the restaurant but hadn't opened yet as we went first week of holidays, shout-out to stripey Kirsty handling all the entertainment on her own brilliantly!! Her personality was perfect for both children and adult holiday makers, boosting the experience more. Facilities were great, with the swimming pool being great for families with little children as well as groups, and there was a park, crazy golf, squash courts and tennis courts. Pool tables and snooker tables also in the facilities it was very nice.

Just returned from a weeks holiday with family. Ideal budget base for exploring the area. Sure there could be improvements, but keeping in mind the cost, it’s definitely what you make of it. ||Our family enjoyed the entertainment and Stripey Kirsty deserves all the recognition for how hard she worked. The kids all loved her and my daughter was so sad to say goodbye. I disagree with other reviews about prizes, there were numerous games throughout the week and some fantastic prizes to be won! One particular game was a take your pick style game, the kids thought the booby prizes were funny, especially when Kirsty told them that the nothing card could be redeemed against parents! Entertainment is definitely what you make of it, if you’re open to letting your hair down and having a laugh with some silly family fun games and dancing, you’ll have a great time. ||My only grumble is one of the kids cut their toe quite badly in the pool. There is a sharp bit that needs addressing, one of the other adults had also said about how sharp it was. Failing that, great pool. ||Thank you Stripy Kirsty for everything!

I first visited Tolroy in September, 2020; my first holiday away from home for many years and my first solo holiday.|The welcome was outstanding and the staff very friendly. The accommodation was excellent; very clean and comfortable. I did not stay on camp during the daytime, but headed for the clubhouse every evening where the staff could not do enough for me and looked after me very well.|It was my treatment by the staff that has kept me returning there twice a year since then. I have taken my grandchildren with me and the staff have fussed over them, too.|It is definitely a family oriented holiday camp with outstanding staff. I have just returned home from a week staying there and have return bookings for September 2025 and 2026.|I hope you find this recommendation useful.

Great place, affordable, good for the family. Only let down was the 7am awake up call by the seagulls, which isn't a problem if you want to start your holiday early. Good swimming pool area, when it's quiet. You have to book any activity the day before at 7pm.

Lovely park, nice accommodations, lots to do. Was very impressed that my girls got very involved in the evening entertainment when they're normally quite shy. Special thanks to Stripey Kirsty for encouraging them and celebrating them, they couldn't be more pleased with their certificates and getting to go on stage. Kirsty clearly works very hard and is very kind.

We visited Tolroy Manor from 14-19 April expecting the site to be a lot busier during the Easter school holidays . |The entertainment was very basic and the evening music ended at 10. Personally I didn’t rate any of evening shows and the prizes of a glass of water,a mini egg, or nothing were very poor. The comedian wasn’t atall funny or suitable for children. |The posters all around said to come again in 2023 ! Or 2024 this should say 2025/2026. |The food was basic, staff were under pressure and couldn’t keep up with orders they seemed to suggest we went to John fowler st Ives a lot of the time !. We missed meet the characters Tuesday evening and didn’t see them anywhere else.|The accommodation rented from Toms Holidays lacked enough items for 8 people no storage space or vacuum to clean up and no baking trays to cook on, the standard of cleanliness was poor alot of cobwebs and dust although queries about heating were answered by phone the upstairs shower was fairly cold most of the time.|I think the site needs updating and some modernisation and better entertainment programme guests pay for this and whether you have just opened or closed for the season this should be provided.
