This was our second sailing trip to the docks and overall a disappointing one. Hardly anything to see, our last visit was a lot more fruitful. Although it was a lovely sunny day there wasn't much heat in the sunshine.

But on the boat it was perishingly cold and not a pleasant experience. If there had been any vessels of note it would have probably been worthwhile. But on this occasion it was a bit of a let down.

The process of getting your tickets, and getting on the boat was fine. Although the recorded commentary sounded a bit garbled. It was a bit of a relief to get back to the shore and out of the cold, I'm sorry to say.

The 2.5hr family friendly fishing trip is highly recommended. We actually spent 2h45m out at sea with a very friendly, helpful and informative captain. The fish were a bit sparse, probably because of the return of the dolphins, but I still managed to catch a gurnard and a mackerel. If you've never fished before and fancy trying it out, this is definitely one for you.

A great way to spend an hour on the scenic harbour cruise. We were lucky to have sunshine to be able to sit in the open and get to see Plymouth from the water. Friendly and helpful crew made it a fun trip.

Took the opportunity to go on the summer sundowner cruise and was not disappointed.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful in assisting my disabled wife on and off the boat whilst I was carrying her mobility aids.
The complementary drink was a pleasant surprise.
This is a more sedate, relaxing cruise with some music playing rather than a tour with commentary. So sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful views.

Excellent cruise of the harbour, Plymouth Sound and past the dockyards on the Tamar. Good commentary and we saw a lot of frigates and other similar navy vessels as well as submarines that will be de-commissioned. All in all a good experience.

Stunning views of the harbour and a sneak peak into the largest naval base in Western Europe. Plymouth's harbour is its best asset, and touring it by boat is one of the best hours you'll spend in the city. The boat trips here are reasonably priced, circle you around the best of the sights, and give you a good commentary about the city's history.

My cousin booked a boat to scatter My Dads ashes on Friday 11th April, they were very accommodating as my uncle is in a wheelchair so they changed the boat for Us so He could get on but sadly he couldn’t make it on the day.
They were very friendly and made Us feel welcome, we scattered the ashes then the young lady asked if we would like to sail around for a bit longer which we did, Thanks boatrips for making a sad day a pleasant experience
