Had a superb day out with Andre on the Top Cat.

We hired the boat for the day at a very reasonable price, loaded up with plenty of beer and pasty’s and off we went. Stopped at a spot known for mackerel and we began catching almost straight away. Then onto another spot for pollock, whiting and more mackerel. After a few hours there and plenty of fish caught we went to a new spot to try for some conger eel. The skipper managed to catch a few although one was too small and the other annoyingly got away just as we were about to get him into the boat. One of the guys caught a massive Ling though (which cooked up well that night) so it was well worth it. Andre even filleted the fish for us on the way back to harbour.

For a group of city boys with no sea fishing experience it couldn’t have been better. I can highly recommend Andre and the Top Cat.

Great couple of hours aboard Kingfisher with my son Mackerel fishing. They were a bit suicidal! with multiple fish biting at the same time. We got covered in scales and I am still finding them days later stuck in places you never thought of! The skipper talked everyone through boat safety and the fishing tackle we were using then it was off to the races! The tide had dropped a bit too far when we retuned so we had a boat with a shallow draft come and pick us up. Two hours is plenty with over 100 fish caught - they were great on the BBQ with some lemon and butter.

We went out on the Emma Louise for a 2 hour Mackrell fishing trip we got about 2.5 hours a fantastic skipper he knew the best spots to fish in. Wevhad a good haul of fish and a cracking afternoon out.

We have had two trips with Paul on Bee Cool and he is a fantastic host. Interesting guy who was really great with the kids and knowledgable about fishing in the local area. Caught loads and all the gear is provided. If you want to take your catch home you can!

Had a brilliant 2 hour trip with my kids. Caught 50 mackerel. It was only £12.50 per person and there were 6 of us.

Brilliant day out with Andre. Despite a slow day he did his upmost to get us catching, taking us to numerous spots around the bay. We even managed to spot a dolphin. Andre was informative, helpful and very friendly. We highly recommend!
