Reasonably priced if only a couple of you but not with a big family (£10 adult and £5 kids). Weather was great which was a bonus. Lovely views. 'Booking in' man was very friendly and kind. Tour guide, could tell wasn't very happy with chatty kids 🤣 not v child friendly, although my kids did enjoy it.

This is a 45 minute journey of discovery (learn about Fowey and the river it’s named after), enjoy the beautiful views and the variety of buildings and craft that adorn the waterside.

The guide is witty, gives lots of interesting information and carefully navigates the waters to give the best views of boats, banks, and buildings.

You’ll see the yacht club side of Fowey, along with the commercial , industrial and boat building sides. You might even find out where the best pubs are!

This is easily worth the entrance fee and we intend to go again the next time we are in Fowey!

45 minute river cruise cost £28 for 2 adults and 2 children. Warning - cash only, although there's a Barclays cash point behind the Aquarium. Cruises seemed to set sail every hour or so. Went up stream and had a guided tour of the sights around Fowey. Lovely location, calm waters.

One of the highlights of our weekend in Fowey!
Taking this boat trip was a last minute decision, we booked 2 adults spaces and waited about an hour for the next available trip. The boat had about 15 of us and took us up the river, past the Boddinick Ferry, pausing occasionally for some interesting insight into the surroundings and a few good jokes along the way. Then about turn back down the river, past the town out towards the open sea for the last 15 minutes of the trip. The boat was very comfortable and the guides were both great hosts. Brilliant value for money and so lovely to see the town from the water, it really does look different. Got some great photos of our hotel from the water. 100% recommend this lovely boat trip, especially on a sunny day!
