I spent an enjoyable afternoon trying on dresses before I chose my wedding frock.
I was able to leave my frock on the premises until two weeks before my wedding to ensure my frock still fitted well, which it did. Had it not done i was assured I could have made use of their free alteration service.
Friendly, polite and informative staff.
Highly recommend staff and large selection of ladies wear

Came in with my mum 3 years ago for a wedding outfit for her. All staff were friendly and very helpful. A drink is always offered and you get your own personal shopper if that is what you would like. Always friendly and welcoming. Alterations done if need to a perfect standard. Always go back when I'm in need of clothes.

Came here for a mother of the bride outfit. As a pear shaped lady I was worried I would not find a suitable outfit for my daughter's wedding. The service was fantastic, I was welcomed with a hot drink and a range of dresses were selected for me to choose from. Alterations to my dress were free of charge, even though there were a lot to be made and the lace had to be unpicked by hand! I am delighted with my outfit and would highly recommend this shop to others. I will definitely be visiting again.

I popped in today on the off chance, as Mother of the Groom for my son’s wedding in August I was starting to lose hope. What a revelation, the selection of outfits and hats was stunning and I found the dress and hat of my dreams. The ladies were delightful and I had a lovely cup of tea! So happy..

This was my first time through the doors of House of Dalrymple.
Quite simply, from start to finish this has been my most enjoyable clothes shopping experience to date!
I believe there is something for everybody in this shop, no matter what the occasion.
With less than two weeks to find a wedding outfit, that I could wear again & again was a challenge I thought I would never achieve. The staff made me feel so at home and with their expert advice & help we found the right outfit for me. Slight alterations were required & Pat, with a few tucks & pins, enhanced the fit. All I had to do was wait for the alterations to be completed & at no extra cost!
Well ahead of schedule, Pat called to say my outfit was ready 🙂
The alterations are impeccable & I was so pleased I was able to thank him personally. I feel a million dollars in this outfit & can't wait to show it off at the wedding.
Thank you again so much & I look forward to visiting you all again soon.

My sister and I visited the House of Dalrymple last weekend and our shopping experience was amazing. We had previously been to London to Harvey Nicholls, Harrods, Peter Jones and numerous shops on Oxford Street, leaving empty handed and thoroughly disappointed. At Dalrymples, we were so relieved to see a really wonderful choice of wedding outfits, hats, fascinators and handbags. One of the owners was particularly brilliant and he knew what suited my sister and I better than we did !! We were treated like valued customers and were also treated to a lovely cup of coffee which you don’t get in most shops ! Even the alterations were done in house ! After initially walking in with little hope, we both walked out with our fabulous wedding outfits !! What a little gem this shop is and I would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially those looking for an outfit for a special occasion !! 👍
