We had a lovely stay at Gaffers Cottage. We were a family of 6 adults and 2 children ages 12 years to 77 years and all needs were catered for. The cottage was fully equipped with everything you could need. The grounds are lovely and well maintained as were the games rooms, swimming pool, fishing lake etc. You really do not need to search for further entertainment! Well done!

Our family group consisted of 5 adults, 2 children and a dog. We were visiting family that lived near the cottages and it was the most beautiful break from busy London where we live.
Grounds are stunning, horses were so friendly. The cottage and amenities were fantastic. It was a real home from home. The kids enjoyed the stay so much that they were hysterical when they realised we had to go home. The dog loved it too!
We could talk about how amazing the stay was all day but go and experience it for yourself!!
The service was also exceptional and I think that goes such a long way. Friendly, approachable and helpful.
We can't wait to come back.

Amazing selection of cottages to suit all family sizes. Large barn to play in. Nice walk through horsey field to heated outdoor pool and grass tennis court. Easy stroll in opposite direction for hard tennis court. Short walk to local pub. Longer walk to co-op. Within 30 min drive to most coasts, seaside's, seal beaches, the broads, bewilder woods.
The owner Sheelah is incredibly helpful and always happy to please. Been here 5 times, stayed in different accommodation each time and each full of character.

Lovely old house with beautiful grounds to walk around and a child's play area. Pub just a short walk from the accomodation and close to town.

Bed I slept in needed a new mattress but not too uncomfortable not to sleep.

Large shared games room to keep everyone entertained.

We had a lovely stay at Spixworth Hall Cottages this October Half term. We came last year and stayed in Stables Cottage and booked again and stayed in Pond Cottage this time. The cottage was well equipped , cosy and clean on arrival. The cottages are run as a family business and offer excellent customer service. We had a small issue during our stay which was quickly resolved.

The children loved playing in the games barn and it had a lot more in it this year and all the toys and ride on were available again. They especially enjoyed the air hockey table. They also had fun on the climbing frames and swings which I thing have been newly updated.

The cottage building are in beautifully restored historic agriculture buildings and the peaceful rural setting is lovely. A lovely place to stay and good for families.

We had two cottages for a week at the end of October for a family holiday, and found them to be excellent and of a very high standard. Very clean and extremely comfortably furnished with everything one could need. Although it was October the heating system was very good and it was always cosy. A nice touch was the tea, milk and biscuits waiting for us on arrival. The location is superb. Plenty of walking and within easy distance of many attractions. The games barn is a godsend when there are children with you and the weather is not so good. Opposite the gates to the estate there is a very family friendly pub which serves a good, but limited, menu and real ale. We would all recommend these cottages and will hopefully come back again sometime.

Went to a friend's wedding, lovely venue, fantastic gardens and a great reception barn. The swings at the back were excellent (competition grade) but the climbing frame was a little under-sized and not properly anchored. A man with poorer reflexes could have been injured.
The owner, Sheila, was pretty strict about the midnight cut-off for any noise and did not like getting booed for this but my mate Tim did pull at the after do so I've rounded it up to five stars.
