Great service!

I had a nightmare with another garage who wrongly identified the issue and wanted to charge an exorbitant amount to carry out the work.

I dropped into CPR and explained the problem. Gary said he'd look at it same day if he could. He called me later that day to allay my fears - he was convinced it was something else. Within a day, he got back to me with the issue and fixed it promptly. I was surprised to get a call to say the vehicle was ready to collect. I am so thankful for the team's knowledge and expertise. They saved me a lot of bother and money. A fair price and quick turnaround.

I won't be going anywhere else. Thank you!

CPRS has worked on our company vehicles for over six years since we moved our Depot from Guildford to Rugby. We have always found the CPRS team honest, reliable, knowledgeable and competitively priced, we have no complaint's about the standard of workmanship and always make the first call to the CPRS team if one of our company vehicles is in the local area needing mechanical attention.
If your looking for leather sofa's, wide screen TV's and a Skinny Latte while you wait then I suggest you should take your vehicle to a main dealer and pay for that privilege.

Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Diagnosed a worrying fault on my C5 and fixed it within 24 hours of my contacting him including sourcing parts. If you have a Citroen, Peugeot or Renault needing a specialist great alternative to a main dealer cheaper and quite possibly more knowledgeable.

I found him to be quite rude, short with me, muttering who knows what under his breath at me and was left feeling that I'd really put him out asking him to fix my car.

He dropped the job like a hot rock and I'm left wondering if he'd even looked at my car.

His only saving grace was he didn't charge me anything.

I'm sure if the right car/job came in or if you're a regular customer he'd be okay.

So I had an issue with my car and took it to a garage before I took it here because I had a drive train problem which AA garage couldn’t diagnose. So I took it here and the main male in charge with the shite I can’t be bothered attitude test drove my vehicle. He made the problem worse when he stalled the car then had the cheek to tell me the bottom engine mount is f•••••d. he then asked how much I wanted to spend in a sarcastic way, obviously as little as possible was my reply. According to his diagnosis I needed a new clutch and flywheel and engine mount that he just ruined. I left with one thing on my mind “What a joke”. So I took it to my usual garage I had to wait a few weeks as they are always busy. They found a mounting plate had come away snapped a few bolts which allowed movement beyond the tolerance of the driver side drive shaft. This was coming out of the diff and this was the cause for the drive train issue! Also needed a new lower engine mount but all works as it should again.

Massive lesson learned don’t always believe what you are being told until someone who is fully trained has actually looked at the car. I will not take my car to this garage again the main person was very rude, makes out he knows everything but actually knows nothing.

If you don’t want the work or don’t like the car etc be honest I can take it somewhere that does.

Great independent garage with a very knowledgeable and helpful team.
They sorted my Peugeot out after several other 'mechanics' scratched their heads and ultimately couldn't help.
Will be back for sure should I need anything sorting!

DANGEROUS!!!

I recently went to take my car in for a service which came to just under £200. This seemed expensive to me but i trusted them.

As I left and drove towards the busy Lawford road I realised that MY BRAKES WERE NOT WORKING! I was absolutely terrified as my car rolled towards the busy road and I had no idea what was happening. There was a van that managed to stop inches behind of me.
I was scared and in shock from the car horns beeping at me and managed to get my car to a near by road and phoned the company who seemed quite amused.

At this point I was in tears, i've never been in an accident before and the whole thing shuck me up as I fear it could have been fatale if children were around or an older person driving with a slower response time than myself.

The man came out and tried to make light of it while putting something back together under my bonnet. I know people make mistakes but I was surprised by how humorous they found it. It absolutely ruined my day and has left me unsure if my car is safe at all.

There was a brief sorry which led onto talking about replacing my thermostat. As you can imagine I'd just given them £200 so I was not about to give them money for a thermostat that they couldn't even tell me the price of + labour. It just all seemed a bit shifty.

I'm not one to usually complain, i didn't even stick up for myself and others have advised me to take this to court or get my money back. I just don't want other people getting as upset or even in a dangerous accident.
