Absolutely disgusting. An item of mine was open, quite clearly open from the store. I politely asked to swap the product for a fresh one (I was not even asking for a refund), and wasn’t only declined but felt like the staff didn’t care at all. There was no apology, no offer for anything else. This is not the first time I’ve found products from here opened. I had the receipt this time so kindly asked to swap it, but no. In general I would not recommend this stores. There is a grocery store just around the corner which seems to have everything available in the coop. I would recommend that one instead.

We used this store on a daily basis until, on one occasion, the shop assistant/manager came up to us and had a right go, in the shop in front of other customers.
Apparently, she was not happy about our last visit when we tried to make a Costa coffee, but the machine was out of an ingredient, so the coffee was yuk.
So being up against the clock for an appointment and knowing how long they take to fill up the machine we left.
I do not feel the way we got treated warranted the treatment we received, bearing in mind how much we spent there on a DAILY basis. Think the Co-op could improve there staff training.

I love this store. It's well stocked, the prices and offers are excellent. As for the staff, I can honestly say that they are the happiest bunch of people I have ever known to work in any store anywhere! I am disabled, therefore I realise I may get extra help, but I also have eyes and ears that tell me, all customers are greeted with a friendly smile and asked if they managed to find everything they required. An absolute joy to shop here.

Shopping was good and I found everything I needed.
Unfortunately this was spoilt by a miserable woman on pay desk. No good morning or even Hello and when she did speak she treated me very rudely. She sent the next customers goods down before I had removed my bags and called out the price before I had finished packing. An elderly gentleman came after me and it was the same for him- no hello etc.
We are still at the stage with COVID that food shopping may be the only trip out that some people make and a little pleasantness and politeness is what we have come to expect from our supermarkets.

Almost every single member of staff in here is amazingly friendly and genuinely brighten up my day in the brief few minutes I see them. I drop a fair few parcels to the post office situated in the store daily and everyone I'm greeted by is really patient, easy to deal with and go above and beyond to chat and make the experience pleasant and enjoyable. Unfortunately this review is based on one person, Shannon. On the odd occasion she's checked me out on the post office the whole process feels uncomfortable and as if I'm just an annoyance. Today after previously having shown my ID to multiple members of staff in the past and frequently purchasing energy drinks without having to show it, I was challenged by Shannon and denied the beverage. This is understandable to some degree and whilst it is annoying, in hindsight I'm more disappointed about how it was handled compared to the fact of not being able to get my daily drink. There was no "Really sorry I know it is annoying, I know we see you every day but for X reason we can't today", there was none of that, none of the etiquette you would expect for a customer let alone someone who visits almost daily. Instead it was just a few words muttered under her breath once I'd explained I didn't have my wallet today and it was only at the point she picked up my drink I realised what she had even just said. All in all an embarrassing situation that wasn't lead clearly by the member of staff and could have been explained and handled very differently. Even if the outcome was that I couldn't have the drink that day, I'm sure every other member of staff would have portrayed the reasoning substantially better and made me feel a lot less embarrassed by the situation and way more positive about the interaction. All in all I would like to give 5 star to the shop and the lovely people that run it, they really do an amazing job and you get a sense of community spirit in there as appose to just another corporate co-op and if I could leave two separate reviews then I most definitely would.

Good local store, car park is a little tricky to get into with all the on street parking around it but for able drivers its not to bad. Wide selection of eveything you would expect from a co-op. Only thing letting the store down is the staff, they were all a bit mundane and clearly didnt want to be there. We asked where something was and pretty much got a dont know, and then spent 5 mins waiting for a security tag to be removed because the guy watching self service couldnt be bothered to help us.

This is a great co-op store with a good selection of fresh and frozen produce, in store bakery and a nice selection of wines, spirits and craft beers. Also there is a post office incorporated. The staff are friendly and helpful too. There is a large car park at the rear of the store.
