We had a very pleasant stay in the coach house. It had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. The kitchen was equipped. Lounge was big enough. Bathrooms were clean. There was a brick-built BBQ too. Very peaceful area. We would stay there again for sure. Thanks Judith.

We had a wonderful holiday at The Granary. The cottage is very cozy, clean and fully equipped. There is a lot for children to discover on the farm, our daughter loved playing with the cats and the dog. The location is peaceful and close to nature, but still has good motorway connections for great excursions. We will definitely come back. Many thanks to Judith and Jim, who are very friendly and attentive hosts.

After an unfortunate incident to our house, we had to move out suddenly while it was repaired, so we ended up staying at Meadowview Cottages for four months on and off. It was an absolute pleasure, too, with lovely spacious accomodation and great views to wake up to every morning. Judith - and her family - were so obliging and helpful to us at all times - while also providing fresh eggs on a regular basis! The four months there passed very quickly and myself and my family will always have cherished memories - if you get the chance, go there and stay - you will be in for a fantastic experience!

What a fantastic place to stay! We usually stay at Murcott Mill, at the other end of the village (which is also absolutely excellent, and they provide a great breakfast!) but couldn't do so this trip so tried somewhere new...and what a find! We stayed in Larkrise - very roomy, comfortable and relaxing, with all the essentials like tea, coffee and milk ready in the fridge upon arrival, and lovely extras like fresh eggs from the chickens and even biscuits! Clean, friendly, secluded, will absolutely try to return. Especially appreciated having a washing machine and wet room, and loved the cats, little dog and chickens. Lots of wildlife too, enjoyed watching the bunnies, pheasants, hawks and numerous other small birds.

On a recent visit to the UK we stayed in The Granary at Meadowview Cottages for 2 weeks while we were doing our 10 days self-isolation and it was just brilliant! It had everything we could have wished for and then some more! Everywhere was beautifully clean and the accommodation has been prepared with a great deal of thought. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (with more pans & gadgets than I have at home!), fluffy towels, brilliant wifi and even fresh farm eggs and steak produced on the farm were waiting for us on arrival. We were very lucky with the weather and it was just great to have our own private patio garden to sit out and enjoy it all. There are lovely views from all the windows, information about local walks is provided and, if you want to visit Althorp, it is virtually “next door”. The hosts, Judith and Jim are so friendly and helpful that it really made the visit perfect for us. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Meadowview Cottages.

Amazing location. We stayed in larkrise which was really big and perfect for 4 of is. We could have had 2 more as there was plenty of space. Jim and Judith were really helpful with suggestions and even let us have s little birthday party for our girl and some family. Our kids had a great time feeding chickens and even getting to sit on a tractor on their working farm. We definitely hope to come back.

Ideal location for Whilton Mill Kart Track - just had a long weekend at Larkrise, a very well equipped lodge that was comfortable , peaceful and a welcome retreat after busy days at the track! The hosts have thought of everything and I would highly recommend it. There was six of us and the place was still roomy! The accommodation comprises one double with en-suite and two twin rooms and an additional bathroom. The views are stunning and I can’t wait to go back and explore the area more.

We had the best time here! Lovely welcome with fresh farm eggs 🙂 Judith was unbelievably helpful (even buying a bed guard for our toddler) and was always around to fix any issues. The children loved feeding the chickens and playing in the backyard. Lark Rise is easily big enough for 6 people (and we had a big 4th of July party here too!) Thank you again for an awesome stay, we'll definitely be back!
