Best customer service I've had at a rental agency. The staff, including Becky, Lisa and the brilliant man who does the check outs at the Sudbury branch have been such a help in the last few months. They've gone out of their way to find the vehicle I've needed, last minute, multiple times. Massive thanks, thumbs up, high fives and recommendations.

Lisa is lovely, very considerate and kind on a day when I was very stressed about not having a vehicle, and if there were no issues I would have rated 5* on her personality and kindness alone. However, I'm only putting 4 stars as my side door of the hire van did not lock at all, which I only discovered after hauling a couple £ks worth of musical gear over the weekend. Could have been a very different story if someone had tried their luck at any point. I also had figured that any extra fuel I added in to the vehicle past the 1/8th a tank they gave me would be reimbursed. I guess it's my fault for not clarifying but I would really have preferred to not have wasted £50 on fuel that I could not use. I probably won't be using them again, mainly for equipment security that I naturally need absolute certainty for in future.

I rented a vehicle for a few days while visiting the area, and am glad that I went with EA Vehicle Rental. I felt like it was a good value, and the staff seemed friendly and honest throughout the transaction. The car was in great condition and met my needs. This is a small operation so communication depends on their availability, but all of my questions and concerns were addressed. The office is a bit secluded in a business park, so I am thankful that a friend drove me there. I would hire a car from them again.

I'll be honest, I approached hiring a van (to assist my daughter) with a little trepidation. However, right from the outset EA were EXTREMELY helpful, flexible, and employ friendly and personable staff that I thought had long since disappeared. Although I hired from Sudbury, the rental was confirmed via the Colchester office, and here (again) they were a paragon of friendliness and efficiency (thank you Craig).

The Sudbury depot was easy enough to find (with sat nav), and the lady and gentleman there put you at ease immediately.
Alf was just the icing on the cake.

I was able to hire a luton van (with tail lift) for an extremely reasonable price, and the move went well.

If you are in the Colchester/Halstead/Sudbury area and need to hire such a vehicle I will be personally disappointed if this is not your first choice. They are really top-drawer.

We booked a car for over the Christmas period, the staff were extremely helpful and did everything they could to free one up for us, which they did. The service was excellent, the car was in good condition (compared to other car hire companies) and the staff were really helpful. A good price and an overall excellent experience, I would definitely recommend the company and would certainly use them again.
