I have been working with Mark for about 10 months now and I have noticed a massive increase in my fitness and results in races (winning ISA national triathlon and being much higher up in cyclocross races). Mark is very quick to respond to any questions and will always adapt my training around all my needs. He has also helped me get through illness and assured I make full recovery before going into training. I look forward to continuing working with him since he has been very helpful and supportive throughout the last 10 months

Mark coached me for about 10 months in preparation for riding the Tour de France 2024 route with Le Loop. This was my first experience with a coach and I couldn't have been more satisfied.
There was a clear initial plan that Mark was always quick to adjust and tweak in response to feedback, availability, sickness and so on.
I had many queries along the way, which were always thoroughly answered. It is clear Mark is staying on top of developments, without being a victim to fads and hype. His balance of theoretical and practical knowledge really gave me confidence that this was the best preparation for the event.
Overall, Mark was a great coach and great person that I'd highly recommend

I have been using Marks Training programme for a couple of months and found it has started to really improve my fitness. He has provided valuable advice I terms of technique , nutrition and training specificity for my particular cycling goals. I’ve been working with Mark for nearly a year having come to him when I decided to sign up from Le Loop, a Tour de France challenge that sees the participants ride the actual TdF route a week before the actual race. Previously I had always been a casual cyclist and hadn’t done any kind of structured training at all so the whole thing was new to me. So faced with prospect of tackling some massive distances and elevations I took the plunge and got in contact with Mark.
Right from the first telephone call with Mark, I was instantly put at ease by his friendly approach and easy to understand explanations. He set out the plan we would follow and why this would work and how we could fit this in around normal life. Once started on the training, Mark was available in case of any problems and gave regular feedback on the data from my workouts. I found this really helpful as I was able to quickly understand the progress I was making.
The training is always well-thought out with thorough explanations of why we’re doing itand how it will affect my fitness or goals and importantly, Mark is always able to structure training around a busy home life whilst still maintaining the ability to get the best result out of there time available.
The structure and guidance Mark has given me allowed me to exceed my own personal targets and reach a level where I was able to complete 9 stages of the TdF route back to back feeling stronger and stronger as I went. In fact, so impressed have I been with mark that I have decided to continue working with him having originally just planned to get to the event.
I would highly recommend working with Mark to anyone who, like me, hasn’t trained seriously before. The progress I have made is way beyond what I thought possible and wouldn’t have been possible without the support and guidance of Mark.

I have experience of Mark first hand. A coach with excellent knowledge and experience. His coaching is specifically aimed at each rider individually to meet their specific needs providing clear advice and guidance on all aspects of competition and performance. With close monitoring of their performance numbers and health he is quickly able to amend training levels accordingly. Always available and supportive he is one of the best coaches I have come across.

I have been working with Mark since I started my 2022 Season in the Honda British Talent Cup, a supporting class of the British Superbike Series. I am currently riding an NSF250 in the class, and with the goal of winning the championship in the 2023 season!

Since training with Mark, I have noticed an enormous change in how I am feeling on the bike during each race weekend, or testing abroad. I am able to think about what I am doing on the bike more so than before, which has led me to a race win and a podium finish this year.

I can’t thank Mark enough for his support and I am looking forward to continuing with him across the winter and into the 2023 season!

If your looking for a sports coach (cyclocross/ road for me) definitely ask Mark! He has been coaching me for 5 years and together I'm managed to improve on my goals each year. Through injury and bad days he has guided me to some of my best results. He is super knowledgeable about performance coaching and has the experience of all levels to back that up. He has helped me not just build strength but improve my mental strength during races, nutrition and also how we plan race days. He has always been able to adapt to changes in the week, even change thing same day! If need be. He goes above and beyond.
