Have used this garage a number of times having been recommended by a friend. Staff always friendly, helpful and honest. They have had issues repairing a fault on our car however offered a courtesy car and have then not charged us for checks made and faulty part. If you want an honest car mechanic who will do their best to complete works at an honest price, this is the place to come.

They seem honest and only charge for work and parts that are fitted. No adding parts that aren't needed and genuinely try to fix the problem without you incurring a huge bill because you didn't need all those parts. Really impressed with the service! Really friendly and helpful. Should have used this garage sooner!

Update:
Took the car for an MOT last year and the service was awful. There was delay after delay, waiting for parts, unable to troubleshoot without a part, waiting for parts again. More delays. The car was in for far too long and we won't be going here again. Shame because the service was brilliant before.

I moved to the area 3 years and was looking for a good local garage. After using some other garages a friend recommended Long Eaton Garage Services. They are great. Good value and knowledgeable they have serviced both family cars for the last couple of years. More importantly though is both cars are about 10 years old, and when things have gone wrong with them they have been able to diagnose and promptly fix them - unlike some other garages. The garage is a proper independent garage that you can trust. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

The air con on my Citroen ds3 was not working so I took it to Long Eaton Garage Services for a re-gas. Which was quoted for £75.00 I got a call saying that was the air con was working fine and ready for collection. I took the car for a run and found that the a/c was still not working so I took it back and left it with them. Later they told me there was a fault in the fuse box which was giving an intermittent supply to the A/C system and would need replaced with an estimate of £250 to £350 plus labour but the car was drivable and ready for collection. At the garage I was told the good news that the fuse box was no more than £200 but there was a few weeks delivery delay and if I wanted it I had to leave a deposit. After a second opinion from another technician with a code reader who noticed that the blower fan had a fault code that was hindering the A/C performance. He cleared the fault code and interrogated the fuse box for fault’s which were negative. The A/C is now working very well. I can only advise that future customers get a second opinion before committing to a repair at this garage.
