A Fantastic Find for Cyclists!
I normally visit my local bike shop, Long Eaton Cycles, and in my recent visit I came away thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making me feel comfortable browsing and asking questions.
What truly stood out was their knowledge and passion for cycling. They took the time to understand my needs and offered helpful, insightful advice without any pressure to make a purchase. Whether I was inquiring about a new bike, looking for specific accessories, or simply seeking guidance on maintenance, they were patient and eager to assist.
The shop itself was well-organized and had a great selection of bikes, parts, and accessories. It was clear they stock quality products, catering to a range of cycling disciplines and budgets. I appreciated the variety and the way everything was clearly displayed.
I also had the opportunity to experience their service department, and I was equally impressed. The turnaround time for my headset service was quick, and the work was done to a high standard. The mechanic was happy to explain what they had done, which I found very reassuring.
Overall, my experience at Long Eaton Cycles was excellent. It's more than just a place to buy bikes; it's a hub for the local cycling community. The friendly and knowledgeable staff, the great selection of products, and the efficient service department make it a standout bike shop.

Went in without measurements for an inner tube and still walked out with the correct one. Brilliant! Great place.

A very knowledgeable and attentive team. They patiently and thoroughly informed me about my bike, which I left for brake and gear maintenance, as well as for repairing the broken wheel spokes. By the end of the day, I was very satisfied. Now, the gears are very smooth and the brakes no longer rub against the wheel. I will definitely bring my bike back again when needed in the future. The prices were very fair.

Great little bike shop and friendly staff rang up to see if they could sort me a back tub for my bike before my race weekend on Sunday (currently Wednesday) they said yep pop in we will have a look for you.

Got to the shop and the staff was both friendly and willing to help, and also managed to get the wheel sorted there and then for a very reasonable price 🙌 didn't really look around but they look to have a great selection of kit

Brilliant bike shop. Friendly and very knowledgeable. They have done so much for me that I wouldn't go anywhere else. Triss has helped me build bikes up as well as write them off actually 😂🤣 Servicing is meticulous and immaculate. If you have a bike you really care about and want it serviced, have genuine questions or are looking for a new bike I'd highly recommend Long Eaton Cycles.

I'm glad to see some people had a good experience at this shop... unfortunately I've had the exact opposite, on a couple of occasions.

I found the bloke in charge to be (seemingly wilfully) unhelpful - perhaps a ruse to avoid tackling non-simple interactions/problem solving...who knows?
There are lots of other bike shops available in the Nottingham area- all of them better than this one customer service-wise.

It's possible you could visit when other staff members are there.... good luck!

Great bike shop - parts supplied with recommendations in respect of quality. Also assisted with finishing the set up of gears and wrapping of handlebars. Whenever I’ve visited the shop I’ve received good advice and reasonable prices. Thanks.(sorry for delay in review).
