Just wanted to say a big thank you to LE Taxi's and the drivers for our minibus hire yesterday. I booked 2 x 8 seaters in advance and agreed the price. Both minibuses were bang on time for the journeys, drivers were great. Also booked them for an airport run to Birmingham last year and that journey was brilliant too.

Prebooked and prepaid taxis to and from Heathrow. Had a long speech from the taxi driver on the way about why prepayment is essential as so many customers cancel the return leg journey because their taxi isn't at the airport when they arrive. Should have seen it coming really!
We landed back at Heathrow at 7am on a Sunday morning after a 15 hour flight having provided all details of arrival to find that our taxi was an hour and a half away due to 'traffic'. No manager in to help resolve and refund. You wonder why all your trade is going to companies like Uber - well this is why. Absolute joke.

Booked for a Heathrow airport pick up for 6am on a Sunday.

Gave flight details and prepaid.

Driver didn't set off until we had landed so by the time we cleared luggage collection and passport control he was still 1hr 35 mins away.

He blamed "traffic" (at 6am on a Sunday?)

PLEASE DON’T BOOK THIS TAXI FIRM FOR AIRPORT RUNS and make the same mistake we did. I wish we had read the other reviews.

Appalling service. We paid £75 upfront for a taxi that never turned up. The driver repeatedly claimed he was “on his way,” but after 90 minutes at the airport (with my partner on crutches, which the company knew), he was still nowhere near. He hung up on us when we asked for an ETA and why he wasn’t using a satnav.

We had to book an Uber to get home, and getting a refund was a nightmare. We were told to “call back” for six weeks because “the manager wasn’t in,” we only got our money back by involving the bank. Adam, you're a disgrace, and Cara, you are as dodgy as they come.

After years of using this company, I’ll be sticking with Uber from now on and advising my family to do the same. With a service like this, it’s no wonder taxi firms are a dying trade. If you have issues with this company, I’d recommend reporting them to local licensing. I wish we had read the other reviews.

I booked at taxi to pick me up from Birmingham airport at 1am at the end of October which cost £75 upfront. By 2:20am the taxi still hadn’t arrived so had to order an Uber for £70. I still haven’t received a refund despite numerous phone calls to Long Eaton Taxis. Absolutely disgusting customer service. I will be taking this to the small claims court.

Just got a taxi from the Wilsthorpe Tavern to Broad lands Sandiacre. The distance is probably 2 miles. I could maybe understand it being more expensive after midnight but this was 10.20pm on new year's eve and charged £9.80. Let's be honest. Total rip off!

My taxi driver was very rude to me , telling me to hurry up because he has another job , accusing me of using a faulty credit card because his card machine wouldn't work very very rude , never been spoken to by any taxi driver in that manner!
