Lovely place. It's a large marina which has been well designed and well kept. However it IS open to the public with free parking. It's nice to walk around and view boats for sale.

There is also a very food cafe/restaurant to enjoy and you take take a boat trip along the river from here.

Lovely place to spend an hour or two.

Lovely place to visit for a wander but also a great place to moor a boat. Staff are all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Moorings are secure and well kept. Café Blue is opening this week which will be a great addition to the marina.

The marina itself is nice. PLenty of boats to walk around on the jetty. Nice little seating area too. There's a nice cafe selling very expensive cake. Nearly 4 quid for a very small slice. I ordered a latte which came in a Tiny cappuccino cup and about blew my head off it was that strong as it was served in the wrong cup. Mind you the staff all looked like they were 12 year old. There's also a shop here too.

Really nice place, very well set out, very clean facilities, wonderful tearoom, with amazing cakes, some great shops and lovely walks. Well worth a visit, only downside at the moment is that they are doing some building work so putting a bit of a blot on the views, once it's finished it will be lovely.

We want to thank Sawley marina so much for letting us rake refuge in their marina during the flooding. We had people working 24/7 checking on all the boats. The staff have been amazing too. Thank you everyone!
