I had read various posts of Ella before choosing our safari and this helped us to choose the right safari for us. Highly recommend viewing her channel as well reading her reviews on different tour operators for safaris in Africa.

I cannot write enough to say how instrumental Ella has been for booking my safari trip.
Booking through international (US/UK) tour operators was very very expensive based on the quotes I was receiving. And booking directly through any local tour operator felt too risky to send large deposit amounts.
Safaris by Ella was the PERFECT middle ground that allowed me to connect with local tour operators that I could trust and were clearly vetted to ensure a great experience.
My safari is coming up in a few months and I will update then.
However, so far, the tour company (Meektrails) has been super professional, friendly, and customized all our requested to our own liking.
Ella has also been available to answer questions and she has send us a super helpful "next steps" on what we need to do after booking our safari.
A safari can be such a daunting trip to plan and execute so to have her help and guidance offered such a peace of mind.

We are at the end of our 13 days here in Tanzania and Zanzibar. We are flying home tomorrow, after 13 days of a perfect family trip.
It is the first time we let someone else plan for us, we travel a lot as a family, always planning everything ourselves. This time it has proven to be too complicated. I am so glad I found Safaris by Ella.
You explained the benefits of booking directly with local businesses and we are so glad we did. We asked for 9 days safari and 4 days of pure relaxation. Using Safaris by Ella we got in contact with two companies and chose to use Renatus from Safari Soles Tours. The team at Safari Soles Tours, planned and executed a perfect, stress free holiday within our budget.
At the planning stage all questions were answered within 24 hours. Plenty of advice on packing and getting organised were given. During the trip, we felt like every step was taken to accommodate all of our needs, wishes and wants with ease and pleasure. Nothing was too difficult or complicated. Our guide Ernest was extremely knowledgeable, and fun to be with. We planned the days together, Ernest knew all three parks and the animals habits like the back of his hand, which helped when it came to seeing the wild life. This trip would not have been as successful without him.
The packed lunches which were balanced cooked meals were prepared by the lodges and camps we had stayed at the night before were a great touch, much better than the standard packed lunch and ensured we got to sample the cooking of the places we stayed at.
The car was fully packed with endless water, soft drinks and the excellent Kilimanjaro beer as well as wine. 5 stars trip from start to finish!

The proposals received were varied. Safari soles was by far the most responsive. I ended up booking with them and was there with my son last week. We just got back last night. It was possibly the most fun we have had in a very long time. Our guide Danny was amazing, everything was spot on and as promised or better.

We had a fabulous experience, from beginning to end.

Pauline was very responsive to any questions I had. She was helpful when I was wiring the deposit for the safari. I definitely wanted to make sure that I had all the correct information before wiring. Pauline double-checked everything.

Also, during our safari, Pauline gave me a call to say that there were reports of food poisoning at one of our accommodations. Pauline proactively found other accommodations for us, which was an upgrade from our original accomodation. She definitely was thinking of the customer experience 1st.

Our guide John was fabulous. He is very knowledgable of the animals and where to find them. He took us to parts of Maasai Mara and Amboseli, which aren’t visited frequently by the safaris. He was laid back, which suits our style, and let us dictate our schedule. I have nothing but high praises for John.

Thanks to Ella we had the most incredible 2-weeks Safari in Kenya & Tanzania! We were so overwhelmed with the high number of different Safari companies and luckily we found Ella through her YouTube Videos and got in touch with her via email.

Her recommendation for Meektrails (Kenya) and Serengeti Clarity (Tanzania) were just the best choices we could have possibly made.
Everything from the pickup in Nairobi to crossing the Namanga boarder to our new pickup in Arusha and just every small detail of the trip was well thought trough and exceeded our expectations!! Especially our driver Philip (Meektrails) did an extraordinary job - not only was he extremely kind and funny, but also showed tremendous knowledge when it came to finding the greatest spots. In addition he made us feel at home in Kenya any time during the trip 🙂 additionally, he was always prepared and punctual!
The vehicles are very comfortable & felt like a luxury Safari and the accommodations are just amazing (especially Kilaguni Serena Lodge (best view ever!!), Kon Tiki Northern Serengeti, Karatu Simba Lodge and Heart & Soul Lodge (best food in 2 weeks Safari).

Thanks to Ella & her quick responses we felt comfortable at all times when we had questions or needed guidance about costs / accommodations / payments etc.

When I started researching a safari for our family, I learned that booking directly with tour operators was a great way to support the actual businesses running the tours and save some money. But, it's difficult to do that research from a continent away. I came across Safaris By Ella and it ended up being the perfect way for us to research and book a safari in Tanzania. We requested quotes, spoke to a few operators directly over email and WhatsApp, and ultimately booked with Serengeti Clarity.

They were so helpful from start to finish and we had a wonderful time l, all well within our budget. I can't thank Safaris by Ella enough for putting this platform together. I've recommended it a few times now to different people! It made a safari a possibility for us. I'm still blown away that we saw the big 5 without even going into the Serengeti! Plus, it didn't cost us thousands of dollars per person. It was a fantastic experience with our daughter and made it possible for us to still safari with a 2 year old. We are definitely planning to go back when she's older too!
