Beautiful place to go for a walk with pets or on your own. Also has a bike friendly trail if you are into off road cycling, along with a great cafe and bike rental facility. Cafe is well priced and good value for what you get. Parking is also modernised and can be entirely card-based payments which is a nice convenience. Nice forested trails and peaceful place to walk through.

Beautiful forest with a variety of trails varying in length from 1km to 12km, suitable for walks and cycling. Great playground, and Gruffalo plus Stick man trails which were loved by the children. Only downside....parking seems very expensive at almost £10 for less than 3 hours!!

If you're looking for a place to bring the kids on a nice day - consider High Lodge.

Great for bike trails with various levels of challenge! If you can, bring your own mountain bike. Although their rental bikes are high quality, bike hire can be expensive if there's a few of you attending.

If you're not into biking, there's Go Ape! High ropes. There are also some lovely walks.

Our party had an age range of 3 to 63 and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Lovely walk, we also had three dogs with us!
The kids enjoyed the play areas on route and the big slides. I liked the little touches such as wooden carvings along the route and in the play area's.
The pizza was tasty and a generous size to share. Food was ready fairly, quickly considering how busy it was.
One to return to when holidaying in Suffolk.

A planned 2 hours turned in to nearly 5!
We didn't try GoApe but ate at the restaurant which, while pricey, had an excellent range of food on offer and it tasted great. The adventure golf looks a little tatty but was good fun.
Building dens in the trees took me back to my childhood before health and safety stopped the fun

Fantastic facilities and activities for all ages in the Thetford Forest. Gruffalo trail, walking routes, different level cycling routes and bike hire, Go Ape, disc and adventure golf, archery, table tennis tables, BBQ pitches for hire, picnic tables, information centre, great children’s playground with zip-wire and plenty of equipment for all ages, Segway hire, running routes, cafe and toilet facilities. We took a picnic. All day parking costs £15, 4 hours £12, 3 hours £9, 2 hours £6, 1 hour £3. If the weather is good there is plenty for a days entertainment. Would recommend.
