We visited today with our 7 year old and our baby who was in the pushchair. We were looking for a rainy day activity but were dubious upon entering that we would be able to get the pushchair around however, that was not the case. Staff kindly showed us to a lift at the back of the museum and how to get around.

We spent just under 2 hours there and could have spent longer particularly if you went with older children or just as an adult.
They had lots of interesting exhibits and lots for children to look and a touch! Additionally they had an Easter trail, colouring and craft stations dotted around.

Overall we were amazed at how brilliant it was and only cost £14 for all of us!

Staff were absolutely amazing, so kind and helpful. Definitely worth a visit regardless of the weather.

A wonderful place with very friendly and helpful staff. You can learn many interesting things about the history of the region. I also like that next to many of the exhibits, you can scan a QR code to read or listen to their descriptions. It’s truly a fantastic and must-visit place if you’re in the area 🤩
