I bought Steve a half day charter for Christmas & he, Tim & Ian went out on Thursday 1st August with Matt, they had a fantastic time, Matt is a great captain with a fantastic knowledge of all things fish.
The guys came home with some beautiful Bass & mackerel which we bbq’d …so fresh & delicious. We thoroughly recommend Matt & Silver Halo 5* all the way 🐠

Did a half day Fishing with Matt and it was great fun, he was very accommodating and helpful teaching us novices some fishing tips and taking us to a verity of sites so we had variety of fishing. We all had a great time. So thanks again Matt best Steve.

Excellent day of tuna fishing yesterday. 3 of us on a full day excursion. 8 tuna from around 100 to 400lbs. Well organised, professional, conservation friendly tag and release. Great job 👏

Had a brilliant day's fishing yesterday with a few friends on Matt Forrester's boat, the Silver Halo. It was just as I like it - inshore, not deep water and casting out lures to catch fish you'd want to catch on light tackle, and to top it off, the sun was shinning and the seas were calm. A great way to spend a day off and beautiful to see the Devon coast from the sea. We were also lucky to see a pod of dolphin and sleeping seals on the rocks.
I found that I didn't need to be an expert, Matt was on hand to offer help and advice, he also had all the equipment if it was needed.
Matt is a quiet and confident helmsman, that knows the sea and his boat well.
I'm happy to recommend Silver Halo Charters.
